I agree with the first response to the op (or post number 2):
This game is all about the dps armours so there’s no point making tank armours when t90, let alone t92 dps elites, that degrade to dust unless you have a dye or wanna meleescape in mw, are so much better. But that’s pointless because the degrade to dust just made the dungeons unprofitable unless you have a dye:
Why So Fishysaid: The only boss people seem to be having a lot of trouble with is the ambassador. It just seems like a massive DPS race.
Tank armor gets snubbed once again! Might as well just remove all tank armor but Achto from the game at this point.
The above is the first response to the op. Anyone saying there’s another response above this must be hallucinating.
If you can't beat the first boss then oh boy do I have some bad news for you... The 3rd boss makes the first two look like a walk in the park.
The first boss is super simple. When he first spawns (and every time he changes to the other side of the room) he'll use the poison breath attack. Stand next to his head to the left or right to dodge it. When he pokes his head out a little and then smashes it into the ground, move to the other side of his head away from where he pokes his head towards. When he moves to the other side of the room, surge + bladed dive to follow him. Make sure to stay to the side as he'll launch another poison breath attack.
The second boss is a bit more complicated. He'll alternate between using magic and ranged on you. You can tell when he's ranging you as he'll be surrounded by a Death's Swiftness shroud. When he spawns the portals, you need to kill them before the blue bar reaches full, otherwise they'll uber heal him. Once he reaches certain HP threshholds, he'll spawn 2 bloats and uber heal himself at the same time. I'm not sure if there's a way to prevent the heal but I assume there must be. The bloats should be killed ASAP, the first bloat will increase his damage as long as it's alive and the second bloat will spawn more minions like a portal as long as it's alive. Once his 2 bloats are dead, he'll stop healing except from portals but may occasionally use a powerful melee attack that sends a wave of ghosts in the direction he's facing. Try moving behind him when he does this, as the melee attack can hit over 5k and the ghosts hit for 2k a tick.
As for the third boss, I'm still figuring that out myself. I can definitely say that unless I'm doing something horribly, horribly wrong he's miles harder than the other 2, and small mistakes get punished with massive amounts of damage, but honestly I like it this way. I don't know why people like complaining about content that's too hard for them instead of bettering themselves. The truth is you're the weak, and I'm the tyranny of evil men. But I'm tryin'. I'm tryin' real hard to be the shepherd.
Jeremy Chengsaid: I had to get boosted for ed1 and ed2. Can you please nerf the first boss in ed3 or at least add something similar to the fish that clears ed1 crab boss? I can't even get past the first one. The Leviathan is SUPER easy, as long as you pay attention to the mechanics. Its the only ED boss I don't have alot of trouble against.RuneLabs Mini-Quest/Task Set, Journey to the East. (Task Set Pocket Item)
