OK, I understand why Jagex wanted to upgrade Mining and Smithing. But it rendered the kingdom management completely useless now that you no longer need coal to make addy bars. Shouldn't Advisor Ghrim be able to offer us luminite?

Also, I hate how non direct is the option to withdraw just a few bars that I need in order to use them for Invention. I need addy bars for BANK stander and rune bars for junk refiners. Shouldn't we have an interface on a bank that can link to the metal storage? And a right click withdraw X option?

I do like the Digsite mine because you can train Divination and Agility. But I find transmuting the rocks takes too long and it is a close call to depositing the right colour before the ring moves to a different colour.

I do not like having all these different ores that we need to get used to, though. Too many names to recall, too many functions to get familiar with.

I also do not like the fact that to make a dagger you need 2 bars now from 1. Or that it takes so long to make a dagger. Or that you can only work on one item at a time. Why????!!!!

Jagex the game is dying, the worlds are emptier and emptier each time I log in. Don't you think you have over-extended the game, offering too many types of armour, too many types of beasts, too much of everything with lots of things clashing? EG if I want cooking experience, the sous chef outfit is best but without the cooking gauntlets, food still burns when it shouldn't be burning! Varrock armour makes smithing faster however, the blacksmith outfit does not really improve times and you get the message 'if you were wearing your Varrock armour...' Are you playing with our nerves, Jagex? Why couldn't you have made it that once you own an outfit, you get its bonuses regardless of wearing it or not? I can't keep dressing and undressing and remembering all the different names for outfits. I can understand having different armour for fighting, but for skilling it shouldn't be such a chore.

Coal isn't as valuable as before, but it's not useless - get yourself an autoheater from dungeoneering. Also fixes your issue with the non-afkability.

Yep - metal bank access from the regular bank would certainly be adequate.

Empty throneroom basically is a free xp grab and for that level quite decent - if you do not like it, do it the oldschool way by using agility courses and divination sites. Spoiler alert: The box marked only affects the xp for transmuting the stuff, not depositing.

Shouldn't be too hard to know the metals relevant to you after a while.

Cooking gauntlets are able to inherit the sous chef xp bonus if you own both - if you only own one there's no choice anyway. It doesn't work in either direction for some reason, so you have to wear the cooking gauntlets to gain both effects.

All varrock related mining and smithing bonuses become passive if you would bother doing the new varrock tasks.

Rule of thumb: If an elite outfit exists it inherits most effects related to different items or sets related to that skill. Doesn't help with dual-skill stuff of course, but it cuts down the amount of outfits you need somewhat already.

Thank you for the tips. I have noticed in the empty throne room that you get more experience transmuting the highlighted colour as well as depositing it. I prefer the place where you teleport using memory strands. Have not noticed the New Varrock tasks but I think one of them is defeating this guy again and it was sooooo hard for me and soooo frustrating that I am sure I don't want to repeat the experience. Talking about it, I am not even sure I finished that quest. But there are bugs in the game, eg. you get a task as a daily to light fires for Char but I haven't even finished that quest so it is not available for me. Generally I am disappointed with the way the game goes. I began playing it right at the start and have been playing all these years with a few breaks now and then but I never got something truly extraordinary as a drop - not through treasure trails, not through boss fights, not through mini games such as the Oyster or Barrows. Feels I am wasting my life for patry rewards.

As for the new varrock tasks: It might help doing the quest a few times and buy the ability to obtain stuff for t20 equipment, albeit defeating a guard is only required for the elite tasks and you've made all varrock armour abilities passive by the time you're done with hards (elite only would double their effects). It certainly is tedious to kill one, but the guards can be safespotted (and should actually be killed that way).

Daily challenges only check for your level in the main skill, not for secondary requirements (like quests, tasks or other skills). This is to encourage you not to solely focus on a few skills, but keeping your levels balanced and your quest/task progression up-to-date.

Actually it would be nice, if there was like some deposit chests at the Dark animica, light animica and the lumic area. So that the players don't have to run out to bank and go back.

Actually do include a deposit chest/box at all the locations of mining. It really would cut down on the running to a bank for deposit. Places like the coal fields nw of adry, near the deposits of large amounts of addy rocks, etc.
