In 2019 so far, we've had 3 actual game updates and 3 patch weeks, and allegedly this week is going to be... 4th patch week! *sigh*

Honestly, what happened to MTX funding "better and more frequent game updates"? Patch weeks have become too common, and the actual game updates that we do get are still relatively small in comparison to how many patch weeks we get (M&S rework was big, but the quest and PoF content added this year were pretty small let's be honest). Patches are nice, but when you ask so much money from the playerbase, so many empty weeks is just unacceptable.

And please, cancel this week's dxp weekend: holding dxp weekends so frequently severely damages the game's balance, since it doesn't get enough time to recover properly. Plus it's unhealthy anyway to encourage players to play the game 24/7 for 72 hours straight, in order to get the maximum benefit. Let people play the game when they want, without forcing them to choose between free will and missing out on temporary rewards.

Meh, seconded. I (in part) blame the new 'scrum' system as well, causing n developers to work on just one update that still takes more than 1/n the usual time to develop. Previously we could have three people each working on a quest, and another doing a small skill update, maybe two on a larger minigame, one on a holiday event, one on a boss...
Bizarre Boron Fusswell, scryer extraordinaire. Minigames & ninja fixes & achievement ideas!

Perhaps you're half right; perhaps we can't win. But we can fight.
