Plz use invention if summ 120

Well i'm making this thread here to ask jagex to use invention materials for new familiar on level 120 invention (if it will really happen)

The invention skill saved so much content (gwd1 and clues) and keep alot of items on their prices because of the materials they use...

i vote to have 120 summ only if it uses materials (such as gwd1 parts gwd2, etc ) for new charms or familiars, so we consume more items and make more content stay alive.

It would only work if its not required to train the skill, so they were just an 'expensive' option at making something cool.

Otherwise, youde have a skill that is roadblocked by another skill.

Hmm the current normal charms could be used to xp to 120... New familiars 99 to 120 should (most of them) use this new charms crafted with invention.


i could add a few new familiars for a little better xp/charm , but the focus on inv material would be amazing

No support. Adding invention arbitraririly doesn’t do any good. Would rather they rework current familiars and create gizmos that enhance familiars at a cost of components. New familiars should not require invention and the skill should remain at 99.

i don't think summoning could be reworked. CUrrent lvl 96 pet is already pak yak wich is VERY GOOD... and steel titan is very nice for dmg (and nihils aswell). No reason for reworking. If they change anything about this skill it would need to be 120

ALTOUGH, adding gizimos would be an amazing ideia aswell, i liked it.

maybe they could do that only 110+ familiars would use them or something like that

Yep , thats the main goal , use invention mixed with some skill that will always be using materials as consumables.

I mean, gizimos uses alot of materiasl for perks, but its used once, since u'll keep the gizimo for ever. So main mats like fort comps , gwd1-2 , nox, etc will be used very little.

if we make a way to use them often, boosting temporary familiars and make a way that, to keep this gizimo working we have to recharge it using same mats, we will always keep a constant item sink , making older content be alive forever.

I see no reason for expanding the skill considering your point that familiars at 99 are already powerful. There should be an incremental increase through reworking old summons. Incremental increase as a way of 120 is not right since you get 5% better at a cost of getting 99 another 8 more times.

ya, not every skill can be reworked like mining and smithing wich were completly uselss besides making items that worth gp.

Summoning 120 can be used with other skills making many things more usefull... (wine of ghutix, invention materials and many other stuffs...)

so many things that could be done together with it.
