PVP must be the same as it is in OSRS.

You kill somebody in PVP you get their items (Items that aren't dropped on death reward cash)

That's the ONLY way to sort out PVP in RS3.

thats mean no pvp better? OSRS PvP dying too.

in W.O.D risk system you always win, not glory ammy or obby maul, but enouth gold + PvP Drop table (depends on damage/tank).

You can choose "Fun/Adrenaline Level". rich player go in 5b gear and hes lose 500k-50m~ if die or poor player go in royal, sunspear etc... and lose 5-500k~.

The Wilderness does work that way still in RS3. Which is why people generally avoid the Wilderness like the plague in RS3.

But there are also plenty of no-risk forms of PvP available as alternatives in RS3, like friendly duelling. The reaction to these is, so far, a deafening "why bother", it seems. So I can't be confident the specific suggestion heading this thread will help.

PvP is an important element in many popular online games. So it can be fun, exciting, and attractive for people who like that sort of thing. Maybe they're not the ones playing RS3.

I may have already suggested this: a new segment of the Wilderness where you change to an alternate inventory, equipment, and bank, and so only the items made and earned in this area are at risk there. But playing there earns rewards for the world outside. Like various elements already in the game: a DarkScape like area behaving like a shared Dimension of Disaster, with a RuneSpan rewards shop.

However, just because people can be pushed into doing some PvP activity, it doesn't mean they will like it, so it will be hard to tell if it's a success.

Your suggestions are kinda lols but I somehow support your thread, RS need new pvp content! +1 ^_^

Why "Lols"?
Most of suggestions not mine. Its just use Reddit/Youtube/RSforums and etc source for info about pvp/combat and problems in it, surveys statistics etc. All i do, just mix all problems and build the basis without the most frequent problems.

But thx for support! Glad to see PvP-Community Member

RS3 doesn't need any new PVP content. There were new PVP content that ended up being abused and literally became dead content. PVP needs to be entirely removed, and reworked ground-up. Let's get this fact straightened out, [gold]we are never going back to how wildy was pre-2010[/gold]. And we most probably shouldn't, given how times have changed. We got stuff like Red Portal that literally drops everything if you kill someone. Everything. You don't need to get skulled for it to work, it works that way implicitly. Yet, do you see people populate that place? Do [b][gold]YOU [/gold[/b]]even go there, and does anyone else like-minded like you, go there? So let's accept that obvious truth and fact, and move on it. I'd rather they close down all forms of PVP content, and move it to just one focal location. We have 2 different PVP content to focus on. The safe and fun ones (like CW, Soul Wars, FOG, White Portal, Duel Arena), and the risky ones (Wildy, Red Portal, Duel Arena). It is clear that the safe PVP is more populated than the risky one, for very obvious reasons. So let's go from there instead.

all contents can die...

still need third pvp type... with new mechanics, combat formula, rewarding etc.

I think "W.O.D" is solution, little bit risk for real adrenaline needed, but Drop Tables if enough damage/tank before death is consulation prize, sometimes can pay off.
W.O.D is never ending content, afk skilling areas do the job, all want afk xp, if pkers disappearing > skillers come back for xp > then Pkers back too. Exept if better Xp/rates outside W.O.D. So maybe real ploblem is powercreep, who kill contents...

Jagex can control migration... Everything spins about XP/Rewards.

And i think many players starts this game for progres to be good at PvP, but on progres finish all see here no place to do that. So PvPer have 2 choices quit game or go kill all monsters 100 000 times.

low risk PVP already exist in the form of Castlewars, Duel areana and Tzhaar fight pits.
and considering how unpopular they all are, i doubt your idea will work

nope, these minigames are "no risk" exept duel arena which is very high risk arena, and duel arena not PvP minigame, but gambling minigame, where you can lose many years progress in few minutes and then go buy a rope, duel arena could be closed. Real PvP is when your oppenets show full power and you dont know what to expect...

20 Years old risk system not working these days, it's one of the main reasons why PvP is dead.

W.O.D is new - third type of PvP.
