MINI GAMES REQUIREMENT!?
I have paid for different accounts over the years and have been noticing more MINI games going dead with usefull skills as a reward or even quests that require the use of these dead mini games to advance. I would like to acquire more combat abilities for my rangers but most of the advanced abilities are tied up in these
DeaD
mini games . It would be nice to be able to enjoy the full game that us members have been paying for for years. It would be nice to at least have NPC's to fill the slots for the mini games and/or Raids. I hope the future looks better for this because the game is starting to make me upset more than bring me enjoyment lately .
I am posting this here because I was not able to fully describe some of my answeres on this survey and I was not able to complete the last step to be entered into the drawing for the $50.

It would be
AWESOME
to have to possibility to play role in Runescape 3, and I don't mean to switch to the server "role play" to imagine you are playing a role game because it doesn't works for most players.

We need something very similar to Clue Scrolls, something that forces us to move arround the map and kill, skill and obtain common or rare items. We need it this way, not inside a minigame because many minigames become dead content, nobody enters, and because we want to see groups of players in main Runescape feeling like they are really going to an adventure and they need each other. In fact I don't know how that has not been implemented yet in a game with the characteristics of Runescape! We want it inside the main world, and also the rewards in gold or usable in the main economy. This may also be a reason to meet new people and add new in game friends, improving the relationship among the Runescape players community.

It could be a relatively easy update. To do that we need to play in groups of 5 players, where each player can only use 2 professions.

Non active skilling skills (cooking, fletching, etc) are reduced to 1. If combat skills are not active they will be set to level 40 + ( real level of the player / 4), meaning all players on the party will have at least 40 and a max of 65 in all their combat skills if they are not warriors.

To be able to choose a profesion you must have at least level 70 in all their related skills. If a profesion is active their related skills remain the same skill level the player had before enter role.

The game starts with no items and players can't bank or trade outside group until leave or finish. This makes the role a safe game as you can't lose anything you had before enter. Teleport lodestones and fairy ring will be deactivated until the game is over or you leave. This means you can only use rings, necklaces or other items crafted by the party to teleport.

There are 10 professions and 5 players at the party, each one able to choose 2 profesions. All 10 profesions must be covered on the initial instance to start a role game.

Professions and related skills.

Combat professions:
Swordman: Attack, strenght, defense, constitution and prayer.
Mage: Magic, runecrafting, defense, constitution and prayer.
Ranger: Ranged, defense, constitution and prayer.

Resource professions:
Lumberjack: Woodcutting, fletching, construction. (also requires a hatchet of at least level 70 in toolbelt or backpack)
Cook: Firemaking, cooking.
Hunter: Fishing and hunter.
Druid: Herblore, farming and summoning.
Miner: Mining (also requires a pick of at least level 70 in toolbelt or backpack)
Smither: Firemaking, smithing and crafting.
Burglar: Thieving (is the only one that will get items from npc's).

Monsters drops will be converted into coins and add to the final treasure, same way as Sophanem Slayer Dungeon. Since we don't want people abusing role game for coins, coin drops will be lower per monster than item drops outside role game. Most part of the final reward will become to the fact of completing the task, the entire role game. Still, to reward monster kills each kill could add coins to the final reward in a way like...

Monsters level 70... add 5k gp per kill. (for example)
Monsters level 90... add 10k gp per kill.
etc.

Coins are added to the group reward. At the end, the 40% of the reward may be split considering the total level of each player and their quest points so new players can't profit too much from high level players. The other 60% of the treasure will be equally splitted between all the players. The reward must be worth to play the role game, but not worth if players spend too much time completing it.

Xp got during activity remains the same as outside the role game.

its survey time :) Account security week btw. Stay away from the plague doctor and get that authenticator asap! Password alone is weak. Pin slightly better. 2-step verification is the most secure tool avaiable. You only have to enter a code once every 30 days. worth it. Pro tip: set up authenticator on your email as well.
