Evil Tree is a D&D(Distractions and Diversions) That was released in early 2009
The D&D involves players hunting and cutting evil trees that spawn approximately every 2 hours after the death and spawn individually in each world and each player can chop a max of 2 trees every day
I strongly feel that Evil Trees could safely and easily be added to OSRS
The woodcutting skill as a whole is majorly afk, so I don't see the harm in an engaging way to train woodcutting
The rewards are fair and somewhat balanced enough, auto banking logs could have the time lessened
But the item rewards of logs and bird nests are for the most part fine
The exp rates might need adjusting(Firemaking rates are pretty damn high I'll admit, but it's not like it's already an easy enough skill already)
And with the sporadic nature of tree's spawning on every world, It's a very community friendly D&D
I personally feel in favor for bringing this to OSRS and would love to hear other peoples thoughs on the subject

Thank You!

Do you mean the tree spirits that would attack, or the ones that would destroy your axe when you chopped them?

Because hell no to both. Those were created to stop botting. Bots learned to handle random events, so they became nothing more than an annoyance to legitimate players.
I'll keep score from now on.

Not a fan because some of the things make going to it essential instead of just being a fun distraction which defeats the purpose. The auto banking and xp is the ones I have a problem with, but from what I remember the actual logs and nests you got from it were pitiful even by OSRS standards.

Basically my main issue is the auto banking and the reduction of the tree being felled are the things that can take this from being a D&D and turn it into must be done territory.

Oh, RS3 crap, then.

No support for RS3 content.
I'll keep score from now on.
