...Partyhats lost due to shark attacks!

Sharks don't eat paper, so the partyhats might still be floating somewhere in the eastern lands! Here is my suggestion to recover them!

A new tradeable item called partyhat map is added to Treasure Hunter....

...This wet partyhat can then be dried by a new 115 level invention machine! There is a 50% chance of getting a normal partyhat of the same colour, and 50% chance of getting a broken partyhat. Broken partyhats can be worn too, but the look a little bit different.

...This is a good idea...

O M G ! YES !

It's an absolutely brilliantly cleverly awesomely genius idea!

Furthermore, it's a good idea too!!! :D

Support! Partyhat Maps on Treasure Hunter! :D

I'll add it to the catalog of suggestions about Partyhats on Treasure Hunter:

1. All of the original Partyhats on Treasure Hunter

2. Christmas Crackers on Treasure Hunter because that's where Partyhats originated

3. Addition of new colours and Partyhats with sparkly effect

4. Reboot of Yelps Wheel Of Fortune, The Wheel Partyhats Of Fortune

5. Dong U Dead suggested super rare "Diamond" category for Partyhats on Treasure Hunter

6.
Whatusaytome
(and others) inspired the suggestion of a tradeable item that may be won on Treaure Hunter which can be combined to make Partyhats (akin to "Salvage" and "Alchemist's Amulet Fragments" )

7. Jokku23 recieved news from The Ports that many of the recruits had lost party hats to shark attacks. This led to the development of Treasure Hunter "Partyhat Maps" which may be won on Treasure Hunter or traded to those who are inventive and aren't afraid of sharks.

( Please post any additional suggestions or corrections if there are any errors or omissions regarding credits or suggestions, thanks! )

:D

Yeah sounds like a very awesome idea. Maybe we should ask them to put all the holiday items in there. Imagine getting half wines and easter eggs we could share the fun with everyone...

How about no... you will legit kill the game if you do so, you will have big riots and chaos on server. If people really want a party hat, they can either obtain it by merching, pvm or even worse buy bonds...

It would be unwise to add anything to add very very old items that are discontinued and be "revived" even if the rate was 1%.

If jagex did this... it'll be worse than when EoC came out.

The true prices of partyhats will remain where they should: in the exact place where supply and demand meet.

Don't worry! Supply and demand can have a meeting around 100gp each! Then the prices would still remain in the exact place where supply and demand meet, even if partyhats are 100gp ea!

Jokku nailed it again! :D

In the current Partyhat market, no one knows the "true" prices.

None of the players have access to the data. So, all of the Partyhat listings are potentially inaccurate and prone to manipulation and fabrication to suit the will of the flip/merch/investors:

So, increasing the supply with Partyhats on Treasure Hunter will address that issue and help balance the game!

There are additional benefits with Partyhats on Treasure Hunter as it helps Jagex strengthen funding to hire more people to develop more awesome updates for everyone to enjoy ( They could even hire people like Jokku23 because he's always presenting us with cheerfully entertaining ideas, Jokku has got what it takes to be an awesome game developer! )

Check it out:

Plus, with this strengthened funding from Partyhats on Treasure Hunter, Jagex may be able to reward all the JMods with wage increases for all their hard work and dedication to maintaining and developing this awesome game!

So, it's in everyone's interest to help Jagex strengthen funding because it ensures that the future of the game is maintained and regularly updated.

TLDR: Partyhats on Treasure Hunter is a multiple win for everyone because it supports the development of Runescape's future! :D

Wow your seller mercher buyer diagram is the dumbest thing I’ve ever seen to say that prices are manipulated.

Real world example:
Seller wants to sell 1,000,000 apples. Buyer wants to buy 5 apples. Supermarket (a merchant in your case) connects the two to make the transaction happen. Without the supermarket the apples will rot and the buyer would starve. The commission they get is reciprocal to the risk of not being able to sell the goods.

Runescape example:
Staker wants to sell a partyhat at 2am for 10b. Buyers at 2am are minimal. Buyers at 10am want to buy a partyhat for 10b. An intermediary (mercher in your example) connects the two to make a transaction happen. The commission they get is reciprocal to the risk of not being able to sell the goods.

If you think this is manipulation of prices, there is no help left.

Didn’t read the rest of the post because they are usually just garbage arguments anyway.

Wow your attempt at flamebaiting has you in a blind rage, relax bro, calm down. I'll help you see the logic that frightens you. This is just a game after all and Partyhats on Treasure Hunter will also benefit you too.

But, your disparaging attacks nullify your position, you're attacking your own empty hot air.

Which means that Partyhats on Treasure Hunter is a sharply smart idea and is further strengthened by the flames as everyone can the reasons to support Partyhats on Treasure Hunter are irrefutable.

For example, Partyhats are not apples and neither can be compared to oranges. But even in the real world many countries have laws that address "price fixing, cartels, monopolies, etc.," these sorts of things prevent market competition. While further discussion here will tend to take us away from the topic at hand, it's maintained here that increasing the supply will help increase the competition within the Partyhat market.

Your other example confirms that the current Partyhat prices are fabricated and prone to manipulation. According to your example the Partyhat was sold for the same price at 2am and at 10am, but you also claimed that there was a commission.

That is, your math simply doesn't add up. There isn't a commission if it was bought and sold at the same price. So, you now have an option to clarify your point here, but from the observable data your point here is refuted.

Anyway, thanks for strengthening the reasons to support Partyhats on Treasure Hunter! :D

Furthermore, Jokku has presented an idea to recover all those Partyhats that the Ports recruits lost to shark attacks, so don't worry!

Support Partyhat Maps on Treasure Hunter!!! :D
