I recently replaced my Android phone. When the 30 days was up for "Remember me" for the authenticator, the Authenticator would no longer generate a code. I had to disable it to get back in the game. When I try to use the Authenticator it asks me to enter or scan the key. I have the key and I don't see where I can get one. How can I get a new key so I can get the Authenticator up and running again?
I can enable the authenticator on my account easily enough. The problem is that the authenticator on my new phone won't generate a number so I can log in to the game. If I enable the Authenticator I'm locked out until I disable it again. It asks me to set up the account name and scan or enter the key as if I've never used Authenticator.
Toolmkrsaid: The only option I get from Jagex is enable or disable. I can't find an option for a new key.Jagex don't operate the Authenticator programs we use. They are owned by other companies (Google, Microsoft, Authy).
