Brute forcing my account

My account for the past couple days someone is trying to brute force my password. I have made sure to change password and secure the email/2step auth everything.

The problem is that i'm unable to get into my account for hours because someone is trying to brute force my password then locking me out of my own account. So annoying that I have to wait until the "hacker" stops so then I can finally play...

Any fix for this?

Passwords can not be "Bruteforced" on R S.

After a relatively few unsuccessful attempts at a password the system locks out further attempts for a time ( not sure how long )

Do you have Authenticator enabled?

My account is totally secure with auth/pin not scared that they will actually get in, its mainly that this person is stopping me from playing the game. The "Too many attempts" happens almost everytime I try to log in

This issue has been on and off reported over the past few weeks, and may be an issue with the login server rather than someone trying to brute force. I can only recommend for now to keep trying to login and hopefully you'll be able to soon :)

Thanks but im pretty sure it is a person because the first day I noticed I had an email to reset my password, now I went to try to get into my account ingame "Too many log in attempts" then I tried resetting my password to see if the email to reset the password was the same as the first email that I got sent and it was. But I haven't gotten a reset password email since the first day.

The contents of the email may be the same because a hacker may try to confuse you. Always make sure of the following emails that Jagex uses to contact you from:

@jagex.com
@support.jagex.com
@email.runescape.com
@a.jagex.com
@a.runescape.com
@e.runescape.com
@runescape.zendesk.com

I'd suggest you keep trying to log into the game. It's a known issue and Jagex is aware of it. Alternatively, you can try changing your password. It has been noted that for some players, this has resolved the issue.
