Can i promote keepassxc because i have been using it to manage my 2 factor authentication, for both RuneScape and Arch Linux system.

So when you login to sudo:

$ sudo su -

We trust you have received the usual lecture from the local System
Administrator. It usually boils down to these three things:

#1) Respect the privacy of others.
#2) Think before you type.
#3) With great power comes great responsibility.

[sudo] password for powerbandos:
Verification code:

The yellow part when the system asks to become super user, it will prompt for Verification code, just like the runescape-launcher-2.2.4 does.

To make most Linux variants, ask for 2 factor codes (generated by keepassxc preferably, or any code generator will work)

[1]
All you do is look at /etc/pam.d/
within the pam folder, you can find files like: /etc/pam.d/system-auth
or
/etc/pam.d/common-auth

depending on the Linux flavor you are using.
Within the system-auth and common-auth file you can put the next line:

[2]
auth required pam_google_authenticator.so

Close and save the file, make sure the date is correct and syncing with the 2 factor generator.
(i prefer keepassxc in the Arch repositories)

[3]
Search and Install the libpam-google-authenticator package on the Linux Flavor you are using.

[4]
Then for each Linux System User that you want to set up 2 factor authentication for, type:
$ google-authenticator

After that command copy the key generated, to the 2 factor code generator.
And follow the steps provided, it's pretty self explanatory.

Personally i been using 2 factor Authentication on Linux for few years now, and it is great!
Hope someone searching the www. and that will read my post, got any use for the information provided. :)
