So, it's been only happening a couple of days now, but after a little while, my NXT client locks up. For a while, it was giving a stack overflow error, but cleaning the cache resolved that, but the game still hard freezes mid-action sometimes, causing me to have to go into my task manager and force close. Not sure what the issue is, can't seem to find much info and folks on the discord were much less than helpful.
PC specs:
AMD Ryzen 7 2700x, Nvidia RTX 2080TI, GSKill Trident Z RGB 32gb, 1tb Samsung NVME drive...

Type of client used: NXT
Operating System (Windows Version, Mac OS Version, Linux Version): Windows 10 Pro
Laptop/Desktop: Desktop
Processor: Ryzen 7 2700x
Graphics Card: Nvidia RTX 2080 TI
RAM: Gskill Trident Z RGB 32gb (2x16) 2400mhz

Hey man,

I've been experiencing a similar issue that just began for me after today's patch.

I have resized my window pre-patch to do some AFK skilling on the side but after restarting the NXT client post patch to log in, I noticed rs3 keeps freezing when I try to resize the window back to full size by clicking and dragging the sides.

As it is frozen, nothing in the window works and the only left to do is to force quit(I am on a Mac).

Unfortunately when I restart the client, it remembers the window size and so now I am permanently stuck with a small unplayable window size.

Anyone else getting the same issue???

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Mithrodin.

This is a known issue on the Mac, which Jagex are working to fix.

Have a look at today's patch notes, "Known Issues" in the "Engine" section:

Same issue as Tyeger here. Started from yesterday's update.

Using laptop with Windows 7 Premium(32-bit), 4 gb ram, intel core duo, NXT client.
Not as beast pc as Tyeger's but was running RS3 just fine on med specs before the update.

So this is still happening, and I can't figure out what is causing it...would LOVE any kind of input.

Running NXT on my 32" 2560x1440 monitor, it will run fine for hours, then all of a sudden freeze, then I'll have to alt+f4 or task manager kill it...restart and it gets glitchy with freezes...

Running still on a 2080TI and Ultra settings (minus ambient occlusion)...

Bump: So I got a new error message today with my client freezes...and they're getting worse..

My Nvidia drivers are updated as of yesterday (March 11), I even for the heck of it did a clean install of the game.

I got a The instruction at 0x%p referenced memory at 0x%p. The memory could not be %s
error this time...and I'm not even sure how to go about debugging that...
I've got 32gb of ddr4 3200mhz RAM, and outside of NXT I've never had a problem with anything I play.
