Are POF Animal Trait Re-Roller Dice Rigged!! O_o

Jagex, could we please get some clarity on how the Animal Trait Re-roller actually works on the POF?

Wiki says that you use them to "randomly change a selected trait"; but it is DEFINITELY NOT RANDOM!

There are 78 different animal traits, but only 65 potential traits for Dragon;, once you eliminate all the traits that are specific to other types of animals.

I have rerolled the trait on a Royal Dragon over 500 times and never once gotten the Poisonous Breath that I need.

Statistically, with 500 tries and only 65 Dragon traits, each trait should have popped on average 7.69 times.

I understand it is suppose to be random, BUT to not get the 1 trait needed after 500 tries goes beyond, just bad luck. The odds against that happening is astronomical and I don't believe this can just be explained by bad luck. Bad luck would be only getting the trait 3 times instead of 7.69 time. Extremely bad luck would be 2 times, horrendously bad luck 1 time. To never get it, has to be an undocumented feature on how Jagex decides which trait will NOT come up.

So, Jagex, please be honest with us Farmers; what kind of hidden code you do have that keeps the 1 needed trait from actually getting rolled in 500 tries?

This has been so frustrating to think that Jagex is putting in this kind of Black Hole code.

I could have bought 30 Woody Magic Beans if there had been some honest documentation on the Animal Trait Re-roller dice being loaded against Poisonous Breath.

This seriously makes me wonder how many other Black Holes coding Jagex has put into the game and not documented, even worse; disingenuously documented, like saying "It can be used on an animal on the player-owned farm in order to randomly change a selected trait, consuming the re-roller in the process."; when it is DEFINITELY NOT RANDOM!

Frustrated On The Farm!

Sorry Guys, IMHO, you are living in a Runescape State of Denial if you believe this is just do to random bad luck. Vertically, statistically impossible to have that bad of luck.

Anybody know where you can actually ask Jagex a question and expect an answer from Jagex?

Official Reply from Runescape on Facebook:
"Hi, the trait re-roller is indeed random, but each trait aren't weighted the same. some are rarer than others, doesn't exclude the fact that a roll is random"

So it is 'random', but not evenly.

Without documentation, who know what the Poisonous Breath trait is weighted? 1,000 to 1; 10,000 to 1; 1 Mil to 1???

Jagex provides rarity calculations on a ton of drops and rares in wiki; why not share this information as well?

Like I said to begin with, disingenuously documented, saying "It can be used on an animal on the player-owned farm in order to randomly change a selected trait, consuming the re-roller in the process."; when it is NOT PURELY RANDOM!" Why not share that some traits are weighted and are rarer than others?

I'll tell you one thing, until Jagex shares the "weight" by trait, I'm done buying the Trait Re-Roller Dice.

If the dragon is Black or Royal and the other 2 traits are Glistening & Radiant . . . Sold.

That is my point I have a Royal female with Shock, Frost & Radiant. The male is Re-Roll, Glistening & Radiant. If the re-Roll would ever give me Poisonous, I would the perfect pair of adult dragons.

Think about it, with every kill or Seren Spirit, jagex knows if you are wearing the Luck of the Dwarves Ring, which affects the Rare Drop table.

This takes me back to my conspiracy that even the traits being "weighted" it is also based on what traits my dragons already have.

The fact that you already got poisonous multiple times is even more proof toward my conspiracy. Curious, why would you be re-rolling dragon traits if you already have a poisonous trait. What trait are you trying for?

Hmmmm . . . now that I've bred my Royal, I too decided to change my traits to try for t3 Dragons.

Guess what . . . in the 1st 100 dice, I got Poisonous at least a 6 times and genetic mutation not once.

Now I'm thinking the dice are loaded against the actual person rolling them. Jagex knows I'm trying for Royal Dragon and I already have the other two dragon breaths, so the heavily weigh the Poisonous against me. Now that I've bred the Royal dragon, they take the weight off that trait.

IMHO that is pretty crappy! Makes me wonder how many other player quick-sand code traps Jagex has put into the code. Yes, Pygmy Giant Scarab, I'm looking at you!!

As a programmer myself, I can tell you these player specific code traps wouldn't be a hard thing to do.
