Firstly, I'm quite new; I've been loving the signature heroes' quest lines and I have just completed 'The Death of Chivalry'.
I'm not suggesting any specific content - I'll leave that to the professionals - but I just wanted to voice that I am DYING for the next related quest to be released! I'm heartbroken that I'm unable to help revive the centaurs and aid in Fern's atonement.
Am I the only one that feels this way? What would people want to see in this quest?
I like the original Signature Heroes idea but I am afraid Jagex is staying away from it as they are staying away from quests for quite a while.
I think in future quests, more or all Signature Heroes are going to die. So far, 3 out of the 6 of them have died (not counting the World Guardian).
As we move closer to the the 7th Age, I think there is a good chance the remaining ones will die too and eventually, the World Guardian will be the one left hopping between the Void separating the current and the next generation. Hmm... perhaps a good name for this quest is Saving History?

Jagex already turned on signature hero into a Barrows Sister, I don't think the signature heroes ever caught on really and they never became very popular. I routinely avoid even speaking to them when I see them in game, unless I have to for a quest.Hi.
I think a likely scenario will be most, if not all 6, of the signatures heroes will be turned into undeads or simply vanished from Gielinor before the end of the 6th Age. The reason is (1) it is the easiest way for Jagex to sell their idea for a smaller number of quests released per year and (2) it makes sense Gielinor ends on some kind of undead epidermic, idk, maybe as caused by some Mad God Disease?
