You are correct in that you can continue processing unfinished items without additional input, but you need to make them one by one, running to deposit the item in the bank to do so.


You really don't need to run to the bank to be able to start a new project. You can have several unfinished projects in your inventory and still start more as long as your inventory isn't full. Click-right on the thing next to the anvil. Left-clicking just heats the item you're working on if you have some.

I didn't know that they had allowed you to start projects while you have an unfinished already in your invent. That said, it is a clunky way of doing it, and having a Make X on basic items would be far easier and efficient.


It is clunky indeed, I have to admit that. A make-X option would be nice.
