I can't support this.

Maybe we could get things up to level 100 instead of 99, since that makes more sense as a level cap, and adds room for another tier after the inevitable T95 down the road.

I honestly don't think we should move beyond level 100 for anything. Including combat.

Coming from a maxed player with four 120's and two 200M's, I'm against this. It's unnecessary and extends the endgame 8 times over. Anything past 99 should be kept strictly cosmetic.

Edit: I don't even like the fact that Dungeoneering or Slayer goes to 120. Invention I can accept because it's an elite skill. However, the fact that Slayer got moved to 120 just paves the way for them to make all combat skills go to 120 (have fun with comp cape), so maybe your wish will slowly come true. :|

I support, and with higher levels, there would be higher tiered weapons, with of coarse an increased damage cap. That would be pretty nice.

Support! It makes perfect sense for skills to be true-max at 120. I'm going to 120 all skills currently, and it seems like the perfect next step in the game. The reasons for me saying it makes perfect sense are:

1) Master Quest and Completionist Capes are the continuations of the basic Quest Cape. Where is the continuation of the basic Max Cape? The only upper skilling required is 120 Slayer, Dungeoneering, and Invention, plus for trimmed strange and golden rocks.

2) We need more content! Currently, the only things we've really seen released are more locations (Menaphos was an excellent release if you're mid-level, but I myself landed there and after completing reqs for Comp, I may never find myself there again), cosmetics, and pets. I'm not complaining about these new additions, quite the contrary- I'm always thankful for something more to do in the game.

3) If true-max is raised to 120, it gives more room to grow in the game. Potentially, all skill's virtual levels could be raised to 150 to echo invention, and perhaps the XP cap per skill could be raised to 500m. I understand it will make some people angry, but honestly, those I've heard complaining about this idea seem to be the people who are content to be finished with their current gameplay. I would assume Jagex wants to involve people who want to continue playing instead of calling it quits at Completionist.

The game needs to grow. We need to grow. Not everyone will agree, but, hopefully, some J-Mods will!

if Jagex have any ideas for this kind of thing, they'll atleast make the mining and smithing rework able to take higher items when the time comes
if that doesn't, then I cant see them ever doing so

armour and weapons currently worthy using all come from bosses, or must be smithed like malevolent, which requires other things

im all for allowing the game to advance, but some of the games skills are so backwards that I just don't think its capable of taking it
