This suggestion is for in dungeoneering, other skills can go up to 120 depending how much xp you have, so each skill would be at the same level it would be if the skill went to 120 outside of dungeoneering.

This wouldn't change what levels skill doors need, it would make it so you can do the skill doors/rooms above 99 if you have the levels, doesn't necessarily mean other skills have to go to 120 and have more content outside of dungeoneering, but it would give a reason to go beyond 99 to in dungeoneering, open more skill doors/do more skill rooms without boosting, maybe it could also be made so that having levels (unboosted) beyond the level needed for the door/room reduce the chance of failing, say a door/room needs105 smithing, each level after that you gain would reduce your chance of failing it even more (maybe this could be made true for doors at or below 99 too.

I disagree. If every skill could go up to 120, it would make certain skills deceiving, such as combat.

Most people are used to seeing 114-116 in their stats when they boost them with potions at 99. Bringing up skills like this to 120 would add unecessary mathematics to the game.

Pretty sure OP is talking about this only happening in Dg, not in rest of game.

That said, I support virtual levels being completely disabled in Dungeoneering as they broke the interface.

No support. Every time something level 120 gets catered to it's just another step in the wrong direction. Even if it's just for dungeoneering, it starts to open doors for other people to try and make 120 suggestions. I would like many of the things in-game involving level 120 should be removed, though that won't happen.

I see what you mean, but I don't think things this idea could cause should stop it happening, we'll always have people wanting 120 content for other skills and it's not worth worrying about to the point of not having other, good ideas in :).

120 skills wouldn't be too terrible to have content imo, either.
