First, this is an RS3 forum, the OSRS forums are further own the list.

Second, what's the point of bringing RS3-only content also to OSRS? I don't think people will like it if the game they liked is getting stuff from the game they don't like.

Because its been done before for content that people like? Priff for instance.

haven't played OSRS much, but is it the same priff in OSRS as in RS3? Or did they just finally release 'priff' in OSRS given that it had been a spot waiting for development since long before the split going with a different/new layout and functionality? I'm honestly curious about this. Things may be looking down now, but I see a light at the end of the tunnel;
Do you think I should get off the tracks?

OSRS Prif has the same districts as RS3 Prif has, but the content in them is more or less different. E.g. OSRS Prif has a mining skilling boss (which RS3 obviously doesn't have), OSRS Prif has a "standard" slayer dungeon whereas RS3 Prif has rush of blood, OSRS Prif has a dungeoneering-like minigame but much smaller in scale than Daemonheim in RS3. Both games have an agility course in Prif though and they're somewhat similar, but different item rewards and shortcuts being different. Crystal trees can be grown on both games but RS3 ones can be harvested daily, while OSRS ones are removed after the initial harvest. OSRS Prif doesn't have a max guild.

There are more differences but those are the ones most notable IMO.

Well, Priff and Fossil Island both were hinted at from before the point OSRS was continued on, so it makes sense for it to be released in both games.

Summoning, dungeoneering and divination were not hinted at (as far as I know) before the OSRS starting point and are purely RS3 only. Divination only is possible after the death of Guthix, but he’s still alive in OSRS, or so I heard, making divination impossible lorewise.

I don’t mind there are similarities between both games because they both evolved from the same game at one point in time, and bringing some necessary updates like the GE and anti-botting software is only logical too.
It’s copying the things that make the difference between the games so they appear in both that seems a bit stupid.

@ Huntenemy412 - If you'd like to suggest new content for the OSRS version of the game, that is best done in the Old School Content Suggestions Forum, as this forum is for suggestions for the RS3 version.

Unfortunately, while you may use the same account you use for RS3 for OSRS, there is no way to carry your skills & items over from RS3. Old School RuneScape is based on a backup of the game files from 2007, but it is a separate game that was released in 2013. Everyone starts from scratch in that version. See the Dude... where's my stats? article in the Support Centre for additional information on that.
