Recently, within the past few days you finished removing the wiki from the website in your quest to clean up the code and make the website mobile friendly, for which I do not begrudge you.

However, in this quest you managed to remove an integral part of this games history, the player submissions, as well as managing to remove the lores section.

These two things, though small, are windows into the past of what this game was, and what it can become. So I come to you with a plea. Figure out some way to add these crucial parts of the games history back into the website.

The pages are still technically accessible if you edit the URL, so all the data is saved but simply not available to those who doesn't know how to see it. I agree though, a good portion of those articles hold a certain value which would be neat to have available for those interested moving forward.

Yeah, I found the proxy cache and have been looking through it. It's just sad because there is so much history within those pages. The guides themselves are out of date to an extent, but there was so much more in the wiki than simply the guides. Why no game balance in RS3 Jagex || VN discussion Thread

I agree that it's sad that so much history was lost with this update. Especially postbags, god letters, Q&As and other "official" Jagex written articles should have been moved in my opinion.

You mentioned Lores, which were luckily moved long time ago. The sad thing is that there aren't any links there on the website - the only way to find it is by using the link on that specific thread on lore forums. I think that they deserve a lot more visibility than that, considering how huge part the lore has in the game.

Jagex logic:

- Makes a fully comprehensible and awesome manual.
- Removes the manual and decides to use a wiki instead, so other people can modify and contribute too.
- Removes wiki a few years later

They might as well remove these forums too while they're at it.

Is there a possibility to tell us how to edit so that data becomes accessible for who is interested? The more souls who are able to save such data on their private computers the less chance this data will be lost for future generations.
