Whose idea was it to block emails containing URLs on the ReportPhising@Jagex address?

...yeah. That's it.

Alternatively, I don't have the source to hand but emails are still being received, I'll double check with the team but if I recall correctly there are no issues with reportphishing@jagex.com receiving emails.

Edit: Just chased it up, I was correct. They're going to investigate changing that message / removing it to avoid doubt. As before though, emails are still being received.

how about just giving us, the ones paying with real-world currency, a fucking hotline with representatives that can give us an answer, like normal real world companies do? Why is Jagex so stubborn about this? I've given Jagex thousands of dollars over the years, and for my money I get a game, which i love, but support is horrible, at times I think maybe I should just go to another game and spend my thousands there....

They would be inundated with phone calls and abuse - a hell of a lot more than a 'normal' company. You would never get through. Plus a lot of companies are starting to do this too, use emails or online chat to get situations resolved.

I think instead of phoning Jagex an online chat system would be grand.
