Louiellensaid: The reason why I'm not a Forum Help fmod, that specific task feels like a job, I'm not here to work. But reality is somebody should do it, if everyone takes a break - that very thread will be in bad shape.
But not for me, I continue posting replies on threads that attracts my attention as I browse RSOF.
And when some people hear about it, they ridicule me. Nobody can please everyone, it is simply impossible. bragging about not helping people probably contributes to such responsesbring back the lumbridge pig pit
Louiellensaid: I'm just stating the obvious that this is not a job, the closest thing to having a job is working on a queue - like Forum Help. It is not for everyone.Louiellensaid: The reason why I'm not a Forum Help fmod, that specific task feels like a job, I'm not here to work. But not for me i think everyone understands your belief that this duty needs to be performed and despite having the power to do so you expect someone else to do itbring back the lumbridge pig pit

Southeastersaid: Louiellensaid: You're speaking out of ignorance, have you even imagined that Forum Help issues are discussed in our internal forums? Well, it is true that I am not aware of how Forum Help is discussed in the Fmod forums, nor do I know the nature of your contribution on these threads. But that still doesn't disprove my point. Browsing Item Discussion threads does not mean that I can act as if I am a mercher. Reading up on raids does not mean that I can act with the authority of a Yakamaru PvMer.
Louiellensaid: Bottom line, I have a say about Forum Help issues like any other forumer, and fmod as a nature of the role. All forumers can express their opinion about Forum Help, and I don't? I never said anything like that. You are free to talk about Forum Help, not for Forum Help. Just like how, as a regular forumer, I am free to talk about Fmods, but not for Fmods.
Louiellensaid: It just happens that when a favorite fmod takes a break, some people are making a hissy fit out of it. I don't see anything of the sort happening. No, I have never seen this either.
Also, some people don't celebrate Christmas, not sure about RSOF moderators.
People have holidays at different times of the year, so if a moderator is off at Christmas time that fine, if not why not allow them to moderate - I don't believe moderators need a set holiday time which going by this thread should be at Christmas time.
