Theoretically, if you got to choose one part of rs lore to be adapted into a movie (animated or otherwise) by a professional studio, what would you choose? It can be anything from a quest to an ancient battle or to a historic event (like the final part of Zaros' empire and it's denigration, ending with Zamorak's betrayal). It can incorporate several pieces of lore if they are all related.

My choice would be the "Fall of the Six". The movie would go into detail about the various battles, and develop the barrows as characters.

I'd definitely want to watch The Curse of Zaros (the story told in the Ghostly Robes miniquest).
"Abscondita est in Astra."

Makes me wonder, what would happen if runescape lore hit cinemas as a full movie trilogy? At the same time they have improved gameplay and hit nexgen graphics?

I'd far more like a tv show based around the Mahjarrat and their... adventures. With it starting on freneskae a little before Icthlarin and Amascut show up so you can see them interacting with each other, the mahserrat, the chelon mah, possibly the muspah and mah herself (although that wouldn't really go back to the main group since wahi doesnt believe that)
and then going through their alliance with the desert gods and shifting to zaros and then partially to zamorak

the fact that that a lot of years would pass wouldn't really matter since the mahjarrat are effectively immortal

I think people would laugh and there'd be people who beat up the people who go to see those movies :P

I think WGS has everything a good feature film is supposed to have.

But maybe it's my bias towards it speaking:P still love that thing, and how the set everything up for years before it.

It should probably be something that's easy to understand without having to play a lot, as I believe there are more moviewatchers who could be convinced to play Runescape than there are lorehounds that could be convinced to watch a movie. The legendary creators have been long gone from this world. When they return, they'll be surprised and angered of their creations' new sapience. Meanwhile, the world's most elite, summoned to be its guardians, have abandoned their purpose and intend to plunge the world into chaos. -- Bionicle or RS?

Maybe something like Summer's End and Spirit of Summer. Really a series is more fitting rather than film for the best stories in the game Imo. Too many small complexities that make it great.
