Thanks Mod Raven! :D I'll get to doing this right away, best make some reserves... ;) I'll also exclude desert for the time being since I haven't done the two newest quests yet, and penguins on your personal request.

~

Very roughly from most to least important.

Gnomes
- What happened to Glouphrie and who is Glouck?
- Who killed Argento and why, and why did Glouphrie conceal it?
- The Khazard-Gnome War, initiated by Bolrie/Glouphrie, needs resolving.
- Glough needs to return to the series, and Caranock and Waydar should be arrested.
- How did Glough's wife die and does it have anything to do with his subsequent conduct?
- Laneel and the connection with the Red Axe need some mentioning.
- Ditto Glouron and the Iorwerths.
- Shipyard might need repurposing, and its workers are still close to revolt.
- Was the Saboteur from Arposandra? Is he connected to Karam?
- Is Glophren's name just coincidentally similar to Glouphrie's?
- Is Yewnock still around?
- Where the Zamorak did Glough get all those demons?
- Awowogei's new alliance with the northern monkeys could be relevant.
- Also, unrelated, but it'd be great if we could rewatch cutscenes from The Eyes & The Prisoner, similar to Bolrie's diary.

Elemental Workshop
- What are the fates of Vitruvius and Idiot?
- What is found in the depths of the workshop?

Druids' circles (yes I'm including it because, while horribly broken narratively, it still needs to be resolved)
- What is the nature of the purification ritual?

That's it really, but, er, Druidic Ritual might need some extra dialogue to once again serve as an introduction to the 'series', and of course Eadgar's Ruse needs a sequel.

Drakkerkin series
- What's up with Bob and Robert, how does the reincarnation work, etc.
- How did Robert travel to Kethsi?
- Where is the Dragonkin Castle and how did Robert imprison them?
- What happened in year 30 of the Fourth Age, seeing that the Dragonkin Conflicts lasted much longer.
- Why were the Dragonkin released upon the Balance Elemental's death?
- What fate shall befall the Ilujanka?
- What is the Vault, and how did the Dragonkin get the mirror artefact?
- Did the Dragonkin or did they not sack Saranthium?
- Why was Kalibath 'interrogating' a White Knight about Saradomin's weakness? (well, because he wants to kill Saradomin, obviously, but I mean how is it relevant to the story)
- Did Etheron take the Stone of Jas from V7?
- The Dragonkin cameo'd in Sliske's Endgame and seemingly destroyed the Stone. Err...that might need addressing... I'd be fine with a retcon in this case, but I doubt that's happening.

Pirate
- What happened to Jack?
- How do the Cursed Archipelago and the underwater temple (of Xau-Tak?) relate to undeath? Ditto for the black slab on Mos Le'Harmless. Where is Jack's crew getting all the black stone from?
- Where are Mi-Gor and Murphy now?
- General information about the former horror civilisation.
- Xau-Tak, skeletal horror, etc.
- Obviously the pirate-Customs & Excise Office War needs resolving. Jack has lost his zomboat armada, but gained an army of crabs.
- What is the fate of the Leviathan?
- Undead bosun Giles please.

Miscellaneous
Myreque:
- Edicts conspirators need their story resolved, especially since the relevation of how important they were in the series.
- What happened to Mauritys and Polmafi? Also, if possible, Flaygian and Charos.
- Vanescula still owes Malak, could be interesting.

Temple Knight/Sir Owen:
- King Vallance's illness, Prince Anlaf, Kinshra, etc.
- What are Saradomin and Owen up to next, centaurs bla bla etc.
- What will Sir Vey Lance's new role be now that Saradomin's back?
- Why were they not involved with the threat that was Sliske? Surely they will have had plenty of intel?

Sliske:
- What were Sliske's motives for doing what he did? We didn't get anything from Endgame other than "just because".
- Is the Strange Old Man Gargon?
- Was the mysterious voice from Kindred Spirits Jas? If so, what was Sliske doing for her? Why did she call him her 'agent'?
- Who is Rasolo and why did he have Sliske's ring of visibility?
- Where is the Staff of Armadyl now?
- What happened to Sliske after he turned to shadow and seemingly entered our mind (help)?
- What happened to Nomad and Gregorovic?

Sea Slug:
- Ideally just completely rework Salt in the Wound to address the (narrative) issues listed here.

Elder gods:
- Not much progress here, just a reminder to involve Stealing Creation.

Fairy Tale:
- Where are Louis and Rocco?
- How did orks come to inhabit Ork's Rift, when they're originally from Yu'biusk?

Elf:
- What happened to Dai?
- Doctor Orbon might need arresting.
- Nissyen's corpse is still lying rather unceremoniously at the Temple of Light.

Daemonheim:
- Skaldrun & Grondaban - who are they?
- Why is Bilrach not dead (not buying the Chelon-Mah thing)?
- Whose was the rotting corpse then?
- Thok ♥ Pretty Lass
- Lexicus & Astea's plot
- What is The Rift?

I have a number of points for the penguin series as well, but since you specifically asked..

Just a note; Temple Knight series hasn't finished, only the slug and Void subseries have. They've just been utterly neglected since RotM, with the exception of TDoC, which makes no sense since there have been serious threats around and thy should be focussing on Dragonkin now that Lucien, Grayzag, Mallum (even though SitW needs a rework) and Dellagar have been dealt with. I don't exactly consider the Druid's Circles to be a series, but rather a reoccurring motif throughout the Troll quests, especially with Druidic Ritual being folded into the Troll Warzone. The Demon Slayer rework removed the role of the Varrock stone circle, so if anything, I would say the issue here would be trying to reconcile Druidic Ritual with Demon Slayer.

I think it'd be better to reconcile Druidic Ritual with Eadgar's Ruse, since the latter still references the old quest, in some capacity. And then the 'series', rather what remains of it, needs to have a sequel, and it can probably be wrapped up in a single quest that also ties in Demon Slayer.

Xau-Tak should not play a major part in the Pirates series. He is the unseen force behind all the ressurections, but he plays no core part in the series as a whole. The Pirate series' main antagonist is Rabid Jack. Xau-Tak will undoubtedly be hinted at, and maybe even introduced, but he's best served as an antagonist in a series of his own.

I concur. Ideally, he'd just get a bunch of implicit hints as the series does currently (the ones in Nomad's Elegy or Kindred Spirits would probably be too obvious) and only appear (perhaps even as a shadow or a voice) in some epilogue cutscene after the pirate finale, with tendrils rising up from the water as Rabid Jack's corpse is floating there after his defeat. Or something.

A spin-off quest following the eventual pirate finale and Fur 'n' Seek wishlist could wrap things up for Xau-Tak, then.

Nope, J is not Jhallan. J is almost certainly human, since he required runes to progress in Ghorrock, and he almost certainly died as well, either from starvation or frostbite or being fried to a crisp by the dragons or something.

Az describes him as a "strong fighter" and "of razor wit". Granted, Jhallan fits both criteria, but he wouldn't really be a servant of Azzanadra's and he was also frozen in a cave when Az returned.

The one that's always bothered me, before the pirate series ends, can we get a little more information about the connection between the pirates and the Skeletal Horror? The black mask that cave horrors wear is seemingly made from the same rock we use to reanimate the dead parrot, and when we wear it, it enhances our melee abilities. The skeletal horror's face is the same shape as the mask, if I'm remembering right. Is there a reason that the horror has relocated to between Varrock, Morytania and the Wilderness?

There is. You should do the Fur 'n' Seek Wishlist and read the book reward. :)

Runecrafting:
Wizard Fenix believes that the Runecrafting Altars are running out of energy. The Great Orb Project was created to test this theory, and Runespan was discovered and that happens to reduce the Tower's reliance on the Altars.

But is Wizard Fenix right or wrong in his theory?

Correction: The Great Orb Project was started because runecrafting produces byproducts in the form of energy orbs, one type of which is useless, and the other should be returned to the altar - Vief and Acantha cannot agree on which is which, although the former at least provides scientific and mathematical proof.

The RuneSpan is a pocket dimension created by Wizard Elriss to host the guild; after Finix put forward his theory, it was expanded to allow research.

On a related note, I remember suggesting a quest on runelabs focussing on the scientific side of runecrafting, including Finix's and Vief's theories, as well as introducing some wizard celebrities to the game and wrapping up the plot with the ZMI and Dagon'hai, also exposing Finix as a spy for the former organisation (hence the wicked robes). Here was the pitch if you're interested.

Here's some more miscellaneous unanswered questions, not necessarily Fifth Age or anything but tied to such quests.

Digsite
- Who or what destroyed Saranthium and why? As you will know, my personal theory would be the Necrosyrtes, to vent their rage after the God Wars.
- Connexion between what happened to Tolna and Loarnab. Then again, we know there's a link of sorts, perhaps it'd be better to leave it at that, to preserve mystery.
- How did Varmen die?

Heroes
- What was the nature of the expedition to the Eastern Lands by Xenia, Radimus, Dionysius and Harrallak? (I think those are the right people) Sounds perfect for any future Wushanko extensions.
- What happened to Achietties's parents during said expedition?
- What was the nature of the Jogre War a score years ago that prevented the mapping of the Kharazi Jungle?
- More information about Camorra would always be nice. We only know she slew Garak, and I think Mod Stu's hidden morsel of lore in Heroes' Quest hasn't been found yet.
- What ancient Karamjan civilisation created the Viyeldi Caves, and how was it cursed (this curse predates Viyeldi's arrival)?
- Where's Britain? Is it on Teragard?

Demons
- What are Vacu, why do they serve demons.
- Chronozon is a blood demon, and ice demons exist. Coincidence, or do smoke and shadow ones as well. Did Zaros create them by modifying existing demons (enslaved Avernic?)?
- Any connexion between Nechryael, death demons, and Nezikchened, a Grim Underworld archdemon?

Tower of Life
Current Tower of Life lore doesn't work with the Sixth Age and it's a real shame that the latter has ignored the former in favour of itself. Nevertheless, it can be made to work. Some quotes:

Effigy:
Original message details are unavailable.
A great many years of planning and preparation has brought us here, my fellow alchemists. Now we have... The Tower of Life! We can already create gold, we can already transform matter from one thing to another, and now we have the ability to create life itself! We owe much to the power of Guthix, for without the life essence he left below ground, we would have never been able to bring this tower alive!

Original message details are unavailable.
We wanted to create life. Long ago we found a strange source of energy that we believe was left behind by the great Guthix. He used to create life with such ease. We realised we should be able to use this powerful substance, but we needed to bring together our magic along with the logical construction of the builders. It seemed through our experiments that even magic needs a certain level of rules and laws to work.

Homunculus:

They use essence of Guthix power. Create tower pump this from ground. Make me with godly power. Dangerous.

I'm confident this can be sewn together into a great narrative.

Spirit Beast
Currently, all we know is that the Spirit Beast appeared in the Spirit Realm a few centuries ago and trapped the spirits of the massacred residents of the Bonde farm (sans Jennica, who had died due to a venomous spider a few years prior) therein to feed upon. More recently, it clawed its way through the Abyss, shredding it and thus extending The Void, and strengthened itself using a living adventurer's spirit, but was subsequently defeated (and appeared in corporeal form on RuneScape anyway - joke's on us). But its origins are quite unknown and - my! - a monstrosity that can literally tear the fabric of spacetime to pieces isn't something that is accidentally created. Problem is that it's quite unlikely that we can logically find out about this in-game, unless a deity created it, since we can interact with those nowadays.

Related; what happened to Gargon? His fate would be of no

interest whatsoever were it not for the fact that the Strange Old Man at the Barrows somehow knows about Jennica, even though she died over three centuries ago. The most common theory is that Gargon, mad with grief, somehow fell into the service of Sliske, who extended his lifespan. But anything is possible, really.

Other old men
- The weird old man, is he Iqbar Ali-Abdula?
- What happened to Toralis (idk if he's old but eh)?
- Where's Grayzag from? All we know is he mysteriously appeared at the Wizards' Tower at midnight and applied. Speaking of Grayzag...

Void pests
So, we know that the void pests come from a wonderful homeworld with jungles, forests, seas and swamps. Jessika rightly questions why on earth they would have left that to invade other realms through the Void, such as RuneScape. One possibility is that its simply their nature, and their caste structure is kind of designed around invasions and battles, but that's a bit odd. How would they have known about other worlds in the first place, had not Grayzag begun his experiments? I mean, he learnt of the Valluta and pests from literature, so clearly something about them was more or less established before the invasions.

So then why did the pests invade RuneScape, and why did Guthix place Valluta to protect it from potential invaders - had he foreseen it, or was it simply to prevent what happened on Naragun (and other planes he visited) with Tuska?

My personal theory is that the void pest homeworld was one of the many invaded by Mother Mallum and her slugs. As per usual, Mallum took over one of the pest queens, but since both races have hive minds, something shortcircuited, prompting the pests to begin invasions of their own. Coincidentally, they found RuneScape within a few centuries of the slugs...

Other
- Moia's mum is still a thing.
- Kuradal's too.
- What really happened on floor 61? I'm not buying Bilrach's Chelon-Mah story. Nor even that the DaT bloke is the real Bilrach. :P

Update; alas my slug theory may have been debunked. Conversation with ex-Mod Moltare:

Moltare: I saw void pests as driven primarily by a search for food (ie non-pest living beings, since they consume life force); they don't farm well.
Fusswell: But there's plenty of other animals on their world. Did they exhaust everything and somehow found out how to tracel through the Void?
M: Their home planet only has the biomass to support so many pests. How the Queen is able to tunnel through the Void I never established.
F: Okay but, the reason *that* they have begun their invasions is definitively scarcity of food, then? Sounds like they're in trouble, then.

To be continued!

Update: Spirit Beast issue seems largely resolved thanks to Reldo's Top 10 Powerful Creatures list, which had gone missing from the wiki's transcript of the relevant postbag (for some stupid reason, the official RS website no longer has any postbags or player galleries or wallpapers or god letters or downloadable music or...). Bottom line is that Reldo suspects it's some kind of monstrous amalgamation of spirits created when Zamorak nuked Forinthry (and the druids woke up Guthix and stuff). So could do with some more details but overall, that's satisfactory.

On the void pest issue, Mod Moltare hasn't replied any more (yet) but my slug theory is probably out the window. Shame, I liked it. :p
