I don't think the point about the human kingdoms being largely Saradominist was valid up until recently. I mean, France and England, both historically Christian nations, used to fight each other all the time. With Saradomin coming back, sure. But before that? Not so much. That is true one factor alone isn't enough to ensure peace but it would've contributed to it.
I can't get into too much detail atm (due to being in college) but the foundations from sharing the same faith would lead to a lot of other factors to ensure the peace is kept.
A big reason England and France fought so much was down to what leaders they had, their close proximity to each other and the general ambition of the people.
But things like simmilaries in faith could lead to the population becoming unsupportive of the continued warfare and it would also give them a shared perspective when negotiating peace deals.
And in terms of Runescape all those places would've built up co-dependance from all being under Saradomin's rule making it much more unlikely that one would risk breaking all the deals already in place by declaring war.
Plus if any other troubles arised such as the black knights attacking Falador or the attack on Avarrocka repelled by Arrav the support the other places would give to those under attack would only serve to strengthen the alliances between them all.

The player is the best diplomat in the world, there used to be continuous global wars and now everything's running so smoothly, that neither gods nor the most hardcore religious followers don't even go outside their village (or in whatever hole they reside) anymore, aside from some NPCs showing up throughout world events and quests.

We're the greatest threat to others' autonomy, I mean look at how much havoc was wreaked throughout the ages, yet we're the only ones that have talked to and helped gazillions of NPCs simultaneously, which resulted in their susbsequent organization throughout adverse events.

It's clear that the very fact of us being here is keeping the whole system from collapsing, as any arrogant piece of s#@t pointing a finger at us or our allies would set off a cascade of events that would result in the systematic destruction or weakening of key disturbing elements (Sliske, Tuska, Bandos, etc.).

Rest assured, everyone else has clearly gotten the message that they shouldn't mess with the World Guardian, or their whole power structure's going down. This is why you should sit back, relax, look at what you've achieved and cherish it, without thinking of why some things you fear haven't happened, cause you'll always get things done, no matter how grave they are.

In lorehound's fur i believe the war isn't as frequent as seen in the battlefields between them, if not being a war at all. After the quests related to them i doubt there to be little to no conflict.
