IF YOU DON'T CARE ABOUT THE INTRODUCTION JUST LOOK AT THE NEXT POST

I seem to recall Chaos Lupus made a similar thread ages ago, but sadly it seems like The Page 51 Monster ate it. This probably won't go anywhere, but it's worth a shot. Consider this an experiment.

Pretty simple premise, someone picks a couple of characters and then the rest try to decide who'd win in a fight. You know, the standard thing comicbook nerds do on forums all over the internet.

No special rules really. That being said, the main point of this thread is just to discuss power levels, fighting skill and so on, so try to stay somewhat on topic.

A few things worth mentioning though (guidelines):

- In-Game stats are made with a priority of making the game playable and enjoyable, not keeping a character consistent
- Gameplay often contradicts lore evidence
(shamelessly taken from a thread on reddit).

Just because * is a harder boss than Y doesn't mean that it's necessarily stronger in-universe. Look at what we know these characters can do within the universe of Runescape. Don't look at hit splats, HP and stats. These are made with gameplay rather than story in mind. The line between canon and non-canon mechanics is a bit fussy though, so a lot of this stuff is up for debate.

Anyway the gist of it is that Story > Gameplay when debating this stuff.

Oh and as for sources of Lore I'd say it's something like this:

Feats (what they've been shown to do) > Statements by J-mods (Example: "Zamorak could eat Brassica Prime - Mod FakeZam) > Character statements (Example: "I can bench-press Varrock" - Fake Zemouregal ). Memories are probably accurate enough to go in the first category.

* The letter X is censored for some reason.

WHO WOULD WIN?
(No you don't have to answer them all, or any of them)

All four GWD generals (Kree vs K'ril vs Zilyana vs Graardor). No Nex.
Round 1: In one of their chambers. None other than the generals are present.
Round 2: Out in the open. The four generals find themselves teleported to a seemingly endless field.

All four GWD armies. Still No Nex.
Round 1: In the Dungeon. Just imagine what the outcome of the current battle would be.
Round 2: Infinite field again (more space).

K'ril Tsutsaroth vs Nymora and Avaryss
Round 1: In K'rils chamber
Round 2: In The Furies' chamber (does it make a difference?)

ROTM Lucien VS Current Sliske
Round 1: No Minions
Round 2: Minions allowed

The Drakans (Lowerniel, Vanescula, Ranis and Draynor) VS The ROTS Barrows Brothers.
Round 1: Drakans vs ROTS Barrows Brothers (like the title says). Someplace in Morytania.
Round 2: Lowerniel vs The Brothers.
Round 3: Regular Brothers vs Ranis and Draynor.

Baxtorian VS Azzanadra
Round 1: Inside Senntisten's temple.
Round 2: Endless, open field.

Zamorak vs The Desert Pantheon
Round 1: In the desert.
Round 2: Purely physical fight. No magic beyond augmeting their own bodies.
Round 3-4: Same thing (both rounds) except replace Zamorak with Saradomin.

Zamorak vs Saradomin
Round 1: Standard Fight. No allies allowed.
Round 2: Same as above except with equalised tiers.
Round 3: Chess

Icthlarin vs The Mahjarrat
Round 1: Standard fight - In the middle of The Kharidian Desert.
Round 2: Iccy has Amascut
Only the mahjarrat currently alive (and Zamorak doesn't count).

Nomad vs Zemouregal
Round 1: Standard 1v1
Round 2: Arrav vs Nomad.

Nex vs Azzanadra
Round 1: Standard 1v1
Round 2: Nex has has her four mages (whose names I always forget).

These are just a few examples. Add your own if you want. I might add some more if this becomes popular

Round 4: ...Mmm...do tiers help with physical fights? I'm assuming not, so...Pantheon.

@ Hazeel: He can stilll use his powers to augment his own body. So more power probably means he could make his body stronger and more durable.

Icthlarin vs Mahjarrat
Round 1: Need I point out the Zarosian/Kharidian War? Mahjarrat
@HGUOG: To be fair that was hundreds of mahjarrat, while now there are only around 11 (I think), but I get your point. I also have to say I kind of forgot about Kharshai, Sliske and Bilrach so it might be more unbalanced than anticipated.

As for Arrav, yeah it's only him. I was kind of uncertain about who'd be a fair fight against Nomad, so I put Arrav there in case that was a more "balanced" fight.
