Is it an elder artifact? Is it an artifact that Tuska found or made? Why does it connect to Mazcab? Could it be tampered with to go to other destinations? How is it powered? How was it created?

There was a rumour that tuska was guided by some sort of leash, which may be an elder artefact. But I have;t seen anything one way or the other about it, oither than Tuska's Portal seemingly being there as for at least the same amount of time as she had Airut hitchhikers. I always thought it was just a portal made out of Anima that one of Tuska's shaman fine tuned to where ever her Harbingers of Tuska had to go next. I mean, The World Gate isn't an Elder Artifact but it still transports people between worlds. I figured the World Window was the same thing, just minus the fancy stone holder.

Speaking of which, wasn't there a rumor when WE3 was first announced, that there would be a "leader" guiding Tuska?

I find it's it's best not to think about the Tuska Comes lore. Mainly because it pretty much didn't have any, and what little it did have completely disregarded all previous Tuska lore. Namely the complete absence of any Airut on Tuska.

I would say that the world window was put there in place of the airut riding Tuska, and the Airut rode Tuska via the window from Mazcab? But I doubt the developers actually put that much thought into it.
You never were our brightest star, Khazard. 'Vermin slaughtered like lambs'? What does that even mean?

Actually the development for that was cut and pumped into Raids instead.

Maybe the "leash" is a metaphor for something generally guiding her, maybe even another god... either way, there may be more to the Airut than we think.

Though concerning the World Window, it may be directed to Mazcab because, maybe, the airut have (or rather HAD before we adventurers/World Guardians arrived) a good holding there, like some sort of base, and that's where troops come from? Roses are grey, violets are grey, I'm in Pompeii, I'm lost.

Always seemed like just a portal generated by Tuska's power to me. I mean, it's clearly made up of her hair/tentacle things. So the airut bound her "hair" together and created a portal that they can use for whatever they want. We know from one of the Acca's that the airut remained on Mazcab after Tuska drank from it, so it kind of makes sense that's the last place the portal connected to.
