Due to the moderate success of my thread on Kindred Spirits, I've decided I'll try my hand again and get another one up and running! This time, for Part III dubbed 'Fate of the Gods II.'

I know we're fresh off Kindred Spirits, but I'm just too excited to wait!
Not much is really known about this quest except for the following excerpt I took from the RS Wiki:
After the player and Zaros disturbed Mah, she has awoken and is planning on creating her own universe, beginning with the destruction of Freneskae. The Mahjarrat return to Freneskae, as does Zamorak. This quest will see a confrontation between Zaros and Zamorak, the general who betrayed him.

At present, not much else is known, but there is still room to discuss plenty of things.
How will Kindred Spirits effect this, particularly with Sliske?
What will happen between Zaros and Zamorak? Will they talk it out? Will Zaros go against his word to the World Guardian and seek revenge? Will Zamorak preemptively attack a non-confronting Zaros?
Will we have to work with both Mahjarrat factions against Mah? Will one faction support Mah while the other opposes? Will both factions attempt to deal with Mah separately?
Will we find anything on Freneskae that we didn't find before?
What will happen with Mah in the end? Will she be stopped, even killed? Will she succeed in destroying Freneskae?

Feel free to post opinions and discuss!

I expect Zamorak to start of hostile, accusing Zaros of setting a trap for him etc., etc., and Zaros just being dismissive.
Then through cooperation Zamorak might come to trust Zaros a little, maybe even apologize for killing him.
And then at the end there's probably going to be some important reward, which Zaros is going to claim without a second thought, and so the quest ends with Zamorak immensely ****** at Zaros for "stealing" his prize.

Osborne has said on Twitter that Sliske is unlikely to appear. I would suspect that he'd do something like in Nomad's Elegy and appear at the very end to adjust the God Scoreboard, but I think that was a criticism of Nomad's Elegy that Jagex doesn't want to repeat here. So I really doubt Kindred Spirits would have any effect.

Maybe we'll mediate between Zaros and Zamorak. Zaros's faction would absolutely oppose Mah, and I could see Zamorak at least agreeing that she's a bigger fish to fry, but after Mah, all bets are off. Mah is the most likely candidate for how the scoreboard will be changed, either killing her or at least winning against her. I'm hoping that this is more dependent on past choices, though, such as Zaros's simulacrum and the end of DAT when Zamorak or Sliske attacked the other.

We might find something on Freneskae that expands on our understanding of the Children of Mah.

I think Sliske is going to have to take a beat. And catch his breathe. That temper just got the better of him and now the game has changed. It could very well end up with him hanging his new "master" out to dry. No matter what lablehe puts on it, for once we got the better of him.

So what if it involved us getting the beating of the century? Not many get the better of Sliske and I think we just went from pawn/ally for amusement, to enemy.

Should be interesting to see which way he jumps next. But to be frank I think it would be better if we forced him to dance to our tune for once, as dancing to his is a good say to end up a puppet on a string. Though it would be best if he thinks that our plan was his, get him in too deep to retreat..

Might I remind everyone Elders can't be killed?
Fully grown Elders maybe. Mah is weak compared to her sisters. Besides, Elder Gods can die. It's been said that comparing a young god to an Elder God is like comparing a mortal to a young god. A mortal with an Elder weapon can kill a young god.. give a being like Zaros the Siphon and the Catalyst. Mah would be RIP, I don't care how you slice it. That's far too much power for a weakened, barely sentient Elder God to handle.
How else do you see this ending anyway? We put her back to sleep? She'll just wake up again.
