Sepulchre, I think Guthix had the single greatest understanding of divine energy out of any being that's ever lived other than the elder gods themselves. All of his exploits imply a scientific approach and efficient way of using Anima rather than an egotistical display of power. Yet another reason I'm still ****** at Jagex for killing off the most admirable god. Even Zaros is caught in the middle of ego and science.

The blade seems to be the key to manipulating space in an efficient and stable way. I'm surprised Zaros hasn't sent someone to study its shards.

I didn't mean to go off on a little tangent. This is an interesting theory. As far as we know there's only one world gate, unless the G man made another, but surely if he did we would know? There's not really much reason to hide it. Unfortunately the great inventor is dead, and so picking his brain on how the gate works, in order to build another, is a lost opportunity. Perhaps that knowledge lies in chronicles fragments, or maybe saradomin knows. Seeing as he absorbed the largest pool of Guthix's residual energy. Papa surf will definitely keep it a secret.

Guthix definitely had the greatest understanding of how the world works, most likely because he drew so much knowledge from the Catalyst. He was the most in tune with the Anima Mundi, it was from lore about him that my theory of the Anima Mundi being a sentient living being came from.
As for Zaros and the Blade, who's to he hasn't? Many parts of Zaros' plan haven't been fully developed yet, and it's possible he's sent someone already.
Papa Smurf likes to hoard and hide secrets, no doubts there. Though even if we COULD learn how to make another one, I doubt we could, since the Blade can only be repaired by an Elder God, even then.. controlling it would require A LOT of practice.
A
World Guardian
must learn to find
Balance
in themselves.
Only then can they
Control
themselves and forge their own
Fate.

The World Gate was created with the Sword.

The portal in Valluta's temple that looks suspiciously like a World Gate was also created using the Void. But it's faulty and just ended up being a huge weakness in the space between the planes.
You never were our brightest star, Khazard. 'Vermin slaughtered like lambs'? What does that even mean?
