We're mortal are we? That's news.

I asked Mod Raven specifically about the piece of our soul yesterday, questioning if we're now useless in the face of gods, because I'd imagine if you saw someone coming your way who'd disrupt your plans you'd rather they be on the other side of the world, so you'd teleport them there.

We've apparently only lost a very small piece of our essence, a chink in our armor instead of a huge chunk missing. We can still stand up to gods we don't like, just slightly less than before.

Now the kicker is, he cryptically said we should wonder who now has that part of our soul, the obvious answer is Sliske. because, well, he's the one who took it. But could he have given it to someone else? Perhaps Nomad for round 3? To his master, perhaps?

What if Zaros will actually prove he is the true mastermind by being Sliske's secret master?

When Sliske's master talks he/she/It speaks in very brief "To the point" sentences, Zaros does not.

The Master also refers to the artifacts by their mortal given names, something else Zaros is known to of never done.

I don't think it's Zaros, I don't want it to be him. It wouldn't be much of a reveal if I'm honest.

I don't buy into it being the 6th elder god. Because I think it's already been counted.

My theory is based off of this. During Tennants run in Doctor who, he encountered what we know as "The Beast" Now, The Beast, Or rather actual Satan, was nothing but the body, a useless shell trapped there. But the thing is, the mind escaped, and while it had no physical form, it could easily influence the minds of others and eventually take over a host entirely, happy to leave its useless body behind if it had to.

This just screams Mah. Think about it, Sliske served Zaros because he recognized his superiority. There is only one authority that could ever be higher than Zaros to a Mahjarrat, and that's Mah herself. I mean, she would be if she wasn't just a cosmic mistake acting on instinct. But that's all a mindless shell can do, act on instinct.

It echos what Zaros did afterall, fleeing his then useless body and wait for the perfect chance to regain a physical form, although technically she did it first if this theory is to be believed.

Keep in mind Mah wasn't involved in creation, so she would only have mortal names to go on for the artifacts, being the consciousness of an elder god would likely afford her insight as to what they could do also.

Any thoughts on this?
