Could anyone provide any lore about the Falador Mansion?
As far as I can remember, a couple had resided inside the Falador Mansion, this was before it was officially known as the Falador Party Room.

What happened to them and what were their interactions?

UUUUGH why do you people
expletive
on threads about minutiae like this?

Here, I'll make it interesting for you.

THE COUPLE THAT FORMERLY LIVED IN THE FALADOR MANSION WERE FORCIBLY EVICTED BY THE WHITE KNIGHTS BECAUSE OF THEIR HERETICAL ANTI-SARADOMIN VIEWS. THEY WERE A BLIGHT ON THE CITY, A PURE WHITE CITY THAT NEEDED TO BE CLEANSED TO BE PLEASING TO SARADOMIN'S EYE. SARADOMIN BLESS THIS CITY AND BLESS THE WHITE KNIGHTS.

NOW PARTY PETE PARTIES IN THEIR HOUSE FOR THE GLORY OF SARADOMIN!

YOU HERETICS CAN'T PROVE ME WRONG IF NO LORE EXISTS HAHAHAHA!

In terms of Jagex development, the Party Room was moved from Seer's Village to Falador because when they were doing King's Ransom, they needed to put the Court House somewhere, and that spot was chosen (it is close to Camelot too).
Perhaps they also opted to move it to Falador to give F2P "something" (Jagex at the time was never one to give F2P much after RS2 was launched.)

Best description might have just been a scenario similar to the quest removal of Romeo and Juliet, where the people that lived in the house just upped and moved away. Not leaving any big reason behind.

Perhaps they got bored of Falador.

Another possibility is they were bankrupted when news started to leak out about Brugsen Bursen creating the Grand Exchange. (Note: King's Ransom was released July 24, 2007, the GE was released Nov 26, 2007).
The market that the players/adventurers don't see fluctuated heavily. So all of the resources they were a part of (similar to people that flip on the GE) cratered in value. Thus, they were bankrupted.
Up to their pixelated eyeballs in debt, they swung a deal to sell their property to the Party Room (then in Seer's Village).
The operators of the Party Room wanted to move to a bigger locale. (Varrock or Ardougne were their first choices, but they couldn't get the permits.) Falador was initially reluctant to also give them a permit to build a new place. But, they didn't have any objections to them re-purposing an existing building. (Didn't hurt that the Party Room made a back room deal to let the White Knights party there free of charge ....... Sir Amik is a bit of a heavy drinker after all ... )

So the family that lived in the mansion managed to pay off their debts, but are now living quietly in some non-descript part of the game world.

It wasn't a couple; I remember it well. It was a lone woman. If you talked to her she was a condescending wealthy type. I think she accepted you looking around her home, because the "lower classes must have their entertainments" or something, but told you not to touch the furniture because it was worked on by the finest master crafters. Your character finally got ticked and said something along the lines of "Shame they couldn't work on your personality." She got angry at this too, said something like "You insolent peasant!" and attacked you.
"You have heard that it was said, 'You shall love your neighbor and hate your enemy.' But I say to you, Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you[...]For if you love those who love you, what reward do you have?

That's not how the White Knights operate. In the novels they protect Zamorakian civilians from an Inquisition led by Aeonisig Raispher.

If I recall correctly, there was only the one snobbish woman living there. But I like this explanation.

I was attempting to bait CD_Paladin_C into actually contributing something useful, but maybe the bait was too obvious? For him at least. That said I don't know whether you are exasperated at me for being a Saradomist zealot or for poorly lampooning one. :P

Anyhow, I do recall the snobby woman that Kit Ryder and Darelzel mention. I wish we were noting down dialog back then like we do now, but I think Kit has it mostly right. It fits with my memory of the mansion; I used to wander in by accident a lot when I was a noob and mining in the Falador mine.

Kit's note about how the White Knights treat Zamorakian citizens is neat.
