There is a miniature blisterwood tree inside Drakan's room, it turns out that he managed to plant from the blisterwood in darkmeyer. So Vansecula most likely lied about us not being able to plant another for some reason.

We actually CAN do it, infact I wonder why we couldnt steal the blisterwood miniature and take it to varrock? We can also make a clone of a blisterwood tree like Drakan somehow did and put it somewhere in Varrock. Then the army of misthalin will have full access to blisterwood weapons.

Another way we can do it is find out how sunspear is forged. Once we do, we reveal the knowledge to Roald and the leader of his military. All of varrock will be equipped with sunspear weapons when defending from the vampyres and liberating meiyerditch.

I would ask an icyene about the tip of spear for reason most unlikely, yet very likely. What better item to ward off backstabbers of own kind but with item that is made by their big enemy? Seeing how Drakan wouldn't have much dignity using opposite-kinds equipment, even mounting them...

In case you missed it, if you investigate that cutting it says:
"This looks like a miniature blisterwood tree.
"It doesn't appear to be moving, but it does look to be carefully pruned.
"Maybe it's a cutting from the one in Darkmeyer?"

The suggestion being that it's not alive, or at least not as alive as the fully grown one, so likely not effective as a weapon against vampyres.

I know but what I am saying is if Drakan managed to grow a Blisterwood bonsai(miniature) doesn't this mean we could plant another Blisterwood tree by taking a cutting? But let it grow into another one without pruning?

If I'm not mistaken, didn't Nessie only tell us that there were no more Blisterwood seeds and not that we couldn't grow one by other methods than a seed?

That aside, it doesn't seem like growing the tree from a cutting (called it btw) yields a tree viable for the creation of weapons.

We should just teleport the tree to Misthalin really... that probably won't happen, but that'd solve everyone's problems.

Probably gonna get sent on a mission to make tons of blisterwood weapon in the future though.

You can't get the tree because Vanescula would kill you (with the help of a massive vyre army before you point out we killed Drakan).

She plans to invade, so I think she'll keep a close eye on you anytime you go anywhere near the tree.

What if you go into the shadow realm to do it or something? Also how will she know if she is so busy running the vampyres?

Yes! Destroy that damn garden of tranquility, everyone hates that quest!

Tear up the garden, put the statues back and put the blisterwood tree there to grow with the white tree of Gondo...Varrock!

The cutting and the Tower of Life should solve the problem. It's about time that place was made useful again. And as it's a late 5th Age achievement, no one else would know about it anyway, other than us. So yes, once upon a time it would not have been possible. Maybe, lore wise, all we need is the right seed or seeds and a cutting now?

(edit: finally a use for the disco room!:P)
