The winners of the "For the Librarian" competition now have their books in the Great Library. There are 20 books in total:

* Architect's Journal, about the significance of the pyramids
* Saa Akila's Journal, a diary entry about the Sophanem plague
* A Guide to Perfect Tea, a guide to perfect tea
* The Diary of Dawnsu, the backstory of Sophie, the Sophanem penguin
* Tefnut, Disciple of Amascut, a bitter account of a follower of Amascut
* Embalmer's Log, an account of the High Priest's embalming going wrong (presumably Klenter)
* Tumeken and the Wind, a fairy tale-esque story
* The Courtship of Elidinis, a poem about Tumeken and Elidinis
* Ullek Woodworker Transcript, an account of a discovery in the forests of Ullek
* The Priestess, about someone watching a priestess of Amascut
* To Err is Divine, in which the Mahjarrat Ptolemos muses on the nature of gods (by Ptolemy Dean)
* The Unnumbered Faithful, on Amascut and destruction in nature
* The Red Devil, about a series of kidnappings
* The Unforgiving Desert, about a band of mercenaries (by Arcblade KB)
* The Story of Phodopis, about an unfortunate young resident of the Ports District
* Poetic Mena, a poem about the Kharidian-Zarosian War
* Klenter's Big Book of Rhymes, a fun little limerick
* File Under: Low Priority, a scribe complaining about too many people training Slayer (by Captain Lime)
* From Nardah, With Love, a soldier in the Kharidian-Menaphite War writing home to their lover in Menaphos
* Aragnya's Tale, a fascinating story of a spider and a goddess (significantly longer than all the others, but absolutely worth a read)

Anyone recognise their own work?

Of course they break their own damn rules. There was a 250 word limit. That is what should have been included. Many many people could have done so much better if they could have went over 250 words. BUT NO, they choose people who broke the damn rules.

The shorter ones were the better ones. I only really enjoyed about 5 or 6 of them.

Some of them were painful as hell to read at that.
Come the Sixth-Age, the world will need the World Guardian.

The longer ones were written by JMods. I don't think they chose stories that went over 250 words as almost all the stories are ~4 pages, which seems to be ~250 words. Only 3 or 4 are longer than that, which is also the number of stories said to be written by JMods. So it all makes sense. :)

I forgot they had said that, but still, I think they were going to choose 20 player ones. At least I thought that is what was said. Come the Sixth-Age, the world will need the World Guardian.

Mine wasn't there. Shame really, it could have been another reason for Amascut going crazy and Ekahi saying that there's something 'other' beneath Menaphos.

Same here. Mine was an account from someone present when Tumeken destroyed himself.

Nice. :)

Mine was a letter of concern written to the Pharaoh of Ullek, from the High Priest of Amascut. This is from before the plains turned into a desert, and the people in the ports of Menaphos had been murmuring about the maw of eternity while Amascut was becoming more afraid by the minute. This fear (which I have referenced to be Xau-Tak) is something I theorised to be a contributing factor into her descent into madness, and devouring souls.

I wrote three different entries, and only realised after the deadline had passed that two of the files I'd sent were (fittingly) corrupted...!

The one that made it through was my least favourite of the three -- a story about Gram Kobold in the last days of the Kharidian-Zarosian War. The other two were a Viking-style poem about V and the Dagannoth Kings (not really relevant to Menaphos, and likely wouldn't have made it through) and a work of Menaphite literary criticism wondering why the poetry written by a particular poet depicted the Aspects of Tumeken so far in opposition to their usual personalities.
