Why has Zamorak never respected Sliske for his actions or even considered him an ally that wants to help bring chaos and misery to the world?

Zamorakianism = strength through chaos.

Chaos can be achieved through conflict, deceit, manipulation, etc.

These are all chaotic things Sliske has done. From backstabbing the adventurer for his own benefits, to causing a tournament that brought conflict against all the gods. Sliske brought chaos himself and breathed life into the Gielinor, a world that was falling pretty boring and stagnant. Isn't stagnation the thing Zamorak wanted to prevent?

In my opinion, everything Sliske has done makes him a Zamorakian if anything. Yet, Zamorak doesn't seem to respect him for his actions or consider him noble. Why though?

Is it because Zamorak is a selfish mongrel that believes he should have been the only one that uses the Stone of Jas to bring about chaos? That he is the rightful self-entitled one to bring chaos and conflict to the world - not Sliske?

In Nomad's Elegy, the Zamorakian afterlife represent Zamorakianism in its purest form. It is a world filled with "power play" full of betrayal and conflict in attempt to reach some kind of grand throne. The afterlife is basically one big game to topple and best one another. Yet Zamorak is just disgusted by Sliske's antics of lies and deception. Just why?

His conniving tongue was all Zamorak preached about in DaT. Zamorak should be proud of Sliske for evolving this far through chaos. Was it not betrayal and trickery that got Zamorak to where he was now - backstabbing Zaros and what not?

I just think Zamorak is a hypocrite. For someone that wants everyone to live in chaos, he sure hates it when somebody else does so without his consent. #anarchistgodmybutt
I worship Mah, for she is mah homegirl! The correct adjective for Mah's followers are: Mahomies, Mah-homeboys, or Mah-homegirls.

Well you have the "chaos", now you need the "strength through". Watching a bunch of helpless hobos kill each other doesn't make anyone stronger. It doesn't challenge anyone. Zamorak doesn't advocate for anarchy either, he just doesn't want the strict control that Saradomin and Zaros seek after.

Zamorak isn't really the type to give out sympathy, nor is he one that take the moral high ground, but he doesn't enjoy sadism for its own sake. There's always a point--even if it's just revenge.

Sliske's methods are born without purpose and benefit no one. That is why Zamorak--and others--stand against him.

EDIT: Outside of Sliske though, yes, there are ways you could easily call him a hypocrite. Personally, I'd say he's more of a preacher towards his own idealology than am embodiment of it. The World Guardian, on other hand, is a paragon of "Strength Through Chaos".
Runescape doesn't need a hero...it needs a villain. An all encompassing force of evil that will remain ever-threatening and use chaos to make the peoples of Gielinor tolerate each other, grow strong together, and fight side by side against this evil. I am that villain.

To be fair, there's a difference between Strength Through Chaos as an ideal (meaning the chaos is most likely a means to an end, if not a chance opportunity to get something from it) and going around causing chaos because you got bored and wanted to watch everything burn down for the hell of it with no real long term endgame in mind.

Maybe it is about something personal. A grudge. Dunno.

Edit: maybe he is a hypocrite. It seems to be a common trait of a god nowadays

Honestly, I reckon good old Zammy's one of the least hypocritical gods. His followers are largely another story (the vampyres for instance are textbook Lawful Evil), but the god himself is relatively consistent with causing chaos for people's benefit (this is what distinguishes his ideology from Sliske's, as said during DAT). Having said that, he has at various times fallen victim to pettiness, and I believe the destruction of Forinthry is just about the pettiest thing he could have done. He acknowledges it as a mistake -- at least, I think, haven't got access to the Sliske's Endgame transcript atm -- hindsight is 20/20, of course, but at least it's something. Overall, though, my verdict is "not actually that bad, as far as gods go".

Because when Zamorak inflicts chaos on a group it is technically for the purpose of forcing said group to improve. Sliske does it for fun, in fact he probably prefers it if they die. He doesn't desire any improvement, only amusement.

That said Zammy personally dislikes Sliske, so even if Sliske wasn't about doing stuff "for the lols" he'd probably still try to kill him.
