I recently received my 50th set of Dragon Limbs from Tormented Demons. My kill count at the time was 13776. I didn't start counting until my 3796th kill so I received more before that, but I don't recall how many.

Doing the math, the average kill count between limbs is 199.6. But I have gotten them with as few as 4 kills and as high as 753. All were with the Ring of Wealth equipped.

I'm on my way to 60K kills, wish me luck!

Update: 10 days later

I'm up to 15653 kills. And I've received 12 more sets of Dragon Limbs. 5 of those today alone! I cannot stress how useful the Ring of Wealth is.

The average KC for this stretch is 156.4 kills per limb. A great average but I don't expect it to last.

Very nice! Have you kept track of how many claw / armor shard drops you've received? I believe claw droprate is the same as limbs but I'd be interested to see how closely they match up

Sorry, I have not. It seems like D Claws are less common than limb drops, though. The same for the 3 dragon pieces. Ever since RS3 came out Dragon Claws have been worthless, so I never thought of tracking them.

For anyone that is interested, here is my loadout for every trip:

Armor: Saradomin Warpriest (Except for cape)
Cape: Reefwalker
Main hand: Seismic Wand (bought with d-limb gp :), before that it was Arma Battlestaff), then switch to Darklight.
Off Hand: Virtus Book (Can't afford Singularity. Yet), then switch to off-hand Drygore rapier.
Pocket: Enhanced Ectoplasmator (To make use of the Infernal Ashes)
Aura: Vampyrism Aura (If I even remember to turn it on, lol)
Necklace: Blood Amulet of Fury
Familiar: Light Creature to teleport, then Bunyip for healing

Inventory: Fire Runes, Air Runes (not needed if using Arma Battlestaff), Spring Cleaner (which has been horribly nerfed), 100 Magic Notepaper (to cover nerf), 2 Overload Flasks, 2 Super Prayer Renewal Combinations, 1 Prayer Flask, 1 Super Restore, 1 Light Creature pouch, 1 or 2 Bunyip pouches depending on how long I feel like staying.

No food is needed to fight Tormented Demons, but you have to get your prayer switching down cold. Regeneration, Blood Fury, Bunyip will keep your health up. Having Ice Asylum ability is a huge plus. As is Guthix Blessing, but TD's will target the Guthix butterfly often.

As long as Jagex doesn't ruin Ascension Crossbows, Tormented Demons will be a worthwhile, high level demon to fight. Good Hunting!
