For the runecrafting pouch part:
Give us only one pouch that is upgradeable and make it hold the appropriate amount of essence.
Example: small pouch = 3 essence
medium pouch = 8 essence (small + medium - 1 for the inventory slot saved)
large pouch = 16 (small + medium + large - 2 for the inventory slots saved)
giant pouch = 27 (small + medium + large + giant - 3 for the inventory slots saved)
This way you don't get extra runes, nor extra xp. You do however save bank space, time filling pouches and time repairing pouches (you have only 1 degrade variable instead of 4).
You can even fit the massive pouch with this idea.

giant pouch decay: 27*e^(-x/(0.69*60))+3
large pouch decay: 18-0.11*x+0.0002*x^2
medium pouch decay: 9-0.0222*x

For the massive pouch you'd have to use a counter that disables those extra slots when it hits zero.

As for the costume room idea:
Let us store items with no stats in the fancy dress box, or maybe even make them cosmetic overrides. There are a few such items that once lost are troublesome/impossible to reclaim and end up just taking up bank space.
The ones I found in my bank are:
Bearhead
Puffer
Octopus
Ray
Monkfish
Camel mask
Gold helmet
Sailor's hat
Davy kebbit hat
Pirate leggings
Pirate boots
Pirate bandana
Desert shirt
Desert robe
Desert boots
Hoardstalker
Was
Scabaras mask
Charmed sack
Juna's gift
Boots of lightness
Barrister wig
Rainbow affro
Mask of sliske
Gnome goggles

The pouch idea isn't about easyscape, it's about cutting down frustration. If the presets could remember to retrieve filled pouches I wouldn't have any qualms with it, but when you load a preset for rc you then reopen the bank and fill each pouch individually. It doesn't take long but it becomes annoying as hell after some time.

I know that keepsake keys are a valuable income source for jagex, that's why the costume room part is in the title, even though most keepsake keys are used for armor with stats (data gained from examining other players in game). This one is more of a decluttering and organizational idea.

I'll let you figure out why these 2 ideas are in the same thread for yourself.
There is a reason (multiple ones at that) and it isn't because both deal with bank space.

For the single pouch, no support. For goodness sake, pouches are already a way to make it quicker and easier - if you don't want to waste time filling them then don't use them.

Moving other quest rewards and items into the costume room I do support. I don't really see what keepsake keys have to do with it. I keep my bear head and golden helmet in the bank because I like to have it, not to wear it. I MAY wear it occasionally for a reason but not enough to bother keepsaking so it just takes up space.

I just buy bank space if I want it so space is not that much of an issue for me but I would like to be able to keep these things in either the costume room or the quest chest just for neatness sake. After all, if treasure trail cosmetics can have a slot why not quest specific cosmetics too?

And no, I can't see why they are in the same thread and I also can't be bothered to try to work it out. Next time separate them so you might get stronger support for at least one of your ideas.

Currently I'm not using the pouches because of the constant bank reopenings, which get on my nerves.

Thanks Rikornak.
I would be satisfied with the bank rework to organize my bank better, but since they shelved that this would help a bit with the clutter.

Didn't Jagex just free up a lot of bankslots for us with their Motherlode Enhancer update a few days ago?

They might have but I don't have the levels to use the maw so it went under radar for me.
