Fixing the AFK problem

One issue I am frustrated about:

When your character is performing a repeating action, such as fletching 28 logs, smelting 28 bars, cutting 28 gems, etc. there are an insane number of other actions that cancel your character from completing said action.

What should cancel the repeating action:
Teleporting
Performing a new skilling action
Entering combat
Using a movement ability (Surge, Escape, Bladed Dive)
Walking/Running
Opening the bank/GE

What should not cancel the repeating action:
Using cosmetics interfaces
Opening Home Teleport interface
Opening a new skilling action interface
Changing Display Name
Changing Examine settings
Using Treasure Hunter
Opening Currency Pouch
Opening Wealth Evaluator
Opening Bag of Components


The reason those second list should not cancel your repeating action, in my opinion, is because you are preventing players from doing their housekeeping activities which have no better time to be done than while you are doing an afk skill, or from getting ready for their next action. It makes sense to prevent the player from actively doing two things at once, but why prevent them from planning ahead? It's silly in my opinion.

Add opening invention component pouch, currency pouch, wealth eval to the list that should not cancel.

Not sure how I feel about opening pet and title interface cancelling action.

Animations should cancel action.

You're welcome to your opinion, but care to offer a reason why? Seems to me those actions provide no XP benefit. Is it really any different than the outfit changes?

Animations interface should cancel action because I don't think jiggleflex is capable of making it so that you can change your skilling animation while you're training said skill. e.g. you're fishing and you want to activate deep sea fishing animation. Good point. I can understand the action you are currently doing getting interrupted if you replace its specific animation.

Opening the interface for animations should be fine though if you ask me.
