Well, firstly this belongs in the Website & Forum section.
This topic has been a very popular subject to those who regularly use the Forums. It has also been brought up in several topics towards the website and forum updates and also with the Companion App. They've already said that when the Forums are brought to mobile and other devices, it will not be created through the Companion App.
They have to update the Forum itself first on the website, and if I remember rightly, the Forums are currently the only part (correct me if I'm wrong) that isn't running through HTML5. This is the only thing that's slowing a lot of the updates for the Forums down.
We're constantly been told we've got updates coming in the Future, but they never reveal if it's in the near future, or whether it's going to be 2-3 years away. It will be brought to devices, such as mobiles but for now, unless you've got a tablet which isn't as demanding when trying to load it on a mobile, you're just going to have to use it on a computer or tablet.
I agree and support this - it's a bit of a tricky one, but it could be done (and our web team already have forum work on their backlog). Our website team are incredibly busy, so this might not happen in the immediate future, but I can see it happening one day
They polled mobile forums earlier in the year, when they also polled other changes to the website. The Adventurers log won the poll and was subsequently updated.
I don't forum from my phone too often, but I do agree that when I do happen to log into the forums from there its not the easiest thing in the world to use (and that's including the website as a whole, not just the forums). It would be a lovely change to see the website and forums made more compatible with mobile devices.
Being at uni all week or at work, I am away from my laptop a lot of the time and am always on my phone/tablet.
To be able to use the forums effectively on these devices would be amazing and very helpful. I know a couple of web developers are working on updating the forums so hopefully this will be the start to something positive for the forums. At the way it stands, I feel the forums get ignored when it comes to getting makeovers. It's a real shame as the forums is a key place to gather feedback or to just chill out when no in-game.
