Agreed. He really should know better as he allied with the World Guardian, WHO IS A HUMAN.

Which he refuses to accept because he considers humans to be dirt beneath his shoes. This isn't surprising.

Do you think Zamorak is a "good" person? After seeing him taunt Armadyl like that it's pretty clear he has no real regret, which makes for an interesting contrast to Saradomin who seems to have a lot of it but doesn't let it influence him. I was kinda disappointed Zammy let himself get influenced by Zaros' aura again, even if he was without his divine protection.

Also would you let Zamorak kill Seren? He seems to really want to.

I do, though his "goodness" means very little to me. I didn't join the Zamorakian faction to claim the moral high ground. I don't care for that. I joined for myself, because I agree with him and believe we should never stop seeking power. That is, after all, how I made it this far.

I don't think he let himself be influenced. I don't think he--or the others--have a choice. I think Zamorak was particularly vulnerable to it because he's spent the most time around Zaros as a mortal and it gets worse with time.

Of course he taunted Armadyl. He was threatened. I don't expect, nor want him to feel regret. He tried to make peace with a man who needlessly attacked him for thousands of years without understanding what the conflict was...and was denied. They tried to kill him. He retaliated. As would any sensible creature.

At this point in time, killing Seren would not be my personal choice. I think she has room to grow and should be allowed the chance of redemption. But this is a choice I would give to Zamorak, because he is the one that Seren has wronged and been made to suffer for it.
Runescape doesn't need a hero...it needs a villain. An all encompassing force of evil that will remain ever-threatening and use chaos to make the peoples of Gielinor tolerate each other, grow strong together, and fight side by side against this evil. I am that villain.

Zaros
: Even as this Forums resident Azzanadra I knew merely asking Jas was going to be too easy. I wouldn't of wanted him to succeed then, it would of felt too overwhelming with everything that happened in such a short span of time. But he didn't throw a fit, he didn't give up, he is now more determined than ever, I respect that. I also thought it was absolutely brilliant how he had every lesser under a pact. Good show old boy.

Saradomin
: His disgusting reasoning and detailed explination of ripping apart Garlandia was just plain vile. I appreciate him putting himself as a father above being a god, credit when due, but I will not let him stay on Gielinor. It's clear he won't change, and he cannot continue on as he is.

Armadyl
: Armadyl is gay. How fascinating. His agreement with Seren sounds truly fascinating for the future though.

Zamorak
: Not much here to say. He didn't really do anything.

Seren
: I didn't include the Dark Shard, so she could never of upper handed Zaros, so for me she didn't really do much other than offer a few pleasantries.

I loved Zamorak's comments about honor, it fit well with the character. He's the type of guy who stabs foes unaware with a poisoned dagger, after all. He's willing to do what it takes to win, which works well for a character whose peoples' lives have always rested upon political power plays. Though not taking the opportunity to kill certain enemies within the maze was stupid, as was putting the gods in that position as well.

As a side note, I've always thought that a strict code of honor would have been an interesting trait to give Bandos. By all means, he should have remained a cruel and sadistic villain, but I think it would have been a better route to establish him as someone who enjoyed testing his skill in fair combat rather than turning him into a coward who never fought real foes.

Zamorak: He's still Zamorak to me. When he and Arma encountered, he told him what i always thought about him. It is HIS fault for the death of his species, Zamorak wanted the other gods dead, unknow what the consequences would be.

In the end, all are guilty, perhaps, one more then the other.

I wouldn't consider any of the major gods to be good people by any modern real world standard, they're all mass murderers. That said, I don't see the issue with Zamorak's comment. Armadyl fought against him for thousands of years in a war that he had no business involving himself in, which ultimately drove his people to the brink of extinction. Armadyl and his aviansie would have killed plenty of Zamorak's followers in that time, some probably Zamorak's personal friends. I wouldn't have stopped at taunting him.

I was impressed Saradomin had the willpower to give Seren the Stone considering his addiction for it. If he tries to kill Seren or Armadyl without reason I'll oppose him. He and Seren are probably on good terms now though, I got them to part on good terms in the maze, and then she helped him out in the end. He and Armadyl seem to have fundamental disagreements on how to deal with problems like the Dragonkin, but both of them seem perfectly ok with teaming up to kill Zamorak so we'll see what happens.

What do you think of Zamorak's death? It doesn't sound pleasant...

I haven't encountered Death during my play through to ask about Zamorak's dead.
Forgot how he dies, from what i readed from someone on the forums.

Anyway, if the question you mean is "How will you feel if Zamorak dies?"

Well, depends on how he dies, by who and why.
If it's in a quest, it better be done right like how they writed Guthix his dead.

If it's a World event, then yeah, i'll be pretty pissed at Jagex or which ever mod is behind it.

Let me tell you something.
(If his dead happens in a WE.)
How Zamorak will die in it will be the least of my concern. It's the aftermath that will annoy me. Mostly how the forums will be, and i mean posts from ignorant-false-unworthy-so called lorehounds,(aka players that don't/pretend do lore but are like ("quot;hurr durr i like faction because hurr durr) that will annoy me to the bone.

I still remember how the forums where during The beast and the bird, when the event was announced, during and after... and we all know how WE1 was on the forums...

His reaction came off a bit too entitled for my liking, and I'm not quite a fan of how he tried playing all the gods, but we'll see if he handles this complication in his plan with dignity and grace or not (just keeping an eye on him).

The way I read Saradomin's detail on that was a man who had a horrifying life choice burned into their mind forever. Regardless of if it was right or wrong, he certainly didn't enjoy doing it and found it horrific (as anyone should).

It's funny you mention change, as I was able to convince Saradomin on several occasions to see the wisdom of the other gods, and open his mind to making that dream Utopia in another, better way. When Seren mentioned that he could be changed for the better, one of the things she mentioned was Saradomin's inability to see the wisdom of others. Sounds like a good first step to me.

That was an interesting bit to learn about Armadyl...damn shame how his second marriage ended...I do hope the Seren/Armadyl story leads to an interesting quest.

Zaros
: Still has my full support, and if anything I am slightly less wary of him now. Even though it was obvious, I was proud to see that he had several contingencies, especially because it means he actually contacted Armadyl and Saradomin to create them (though I am surprised to see that this didn't affect their opinions of him). What a lot of people here refer to as a tantrum towards the end, I see completely differently; although his plan was rebuffed, he retained his vigor and simply stated his intent to keep working towards his goal.

Seren
: Greatly appreciated how she had calmed down since CoM, and how despite still not seeing eye to eye with Zaros, she has eased her hostility towards him. It was curious to see a more childlike nature of hers in her conversation with Armadyl regarding his ideals; how she failed to see her own questions as accusational, merely asking them out of genuine curiosity.

Saradomin
: Still as deluded as ever, I find myself more and more certain that he is a lost cause. Only favor he earned in my book was his willingness to yield to me during discourse with other gods.

Armadyl
: Seems more and more like a normal person the more time passes. Though his personal flaws get more and more blaring, I still love how he talks to me as a friend. And I find the way he yielded to Zaros in return for support to be the best news of the quest. Hopefully this'll yield an option for a definitive alliance between them following Rite of Passage.

Zamorak
: Keeps rubber-banding between douchebag and stand-up dude. It is clear his allegiance is to himself and his friends only, so I will consider any support I give him on a case-by-case basis.

That was one important lesson to him. Do not take someone you are not ready to lose to war. We sadly learnt it too late, just like he did.
