Hello, after 1400 days of inactivity, I'm back and wondering a few things!
What has changed? RS3 or OSRS? (Debate it) How's the economy? (For both RS3 and OSRS) Is Zezima still your #1? (Yes for me) Are there still as many community events that people attend? How has the botter population been in the game? More? Less?
I've noticed a few things in the game already that I like that are neat like the country flags in the friends chat.

What has changed? A lot. Original message details are unavailable. RS3 or OSRS? (Debate it) Bad idea. Original message details are unavailable. How's the economy? (For both RS3 and OSRS) RS3, it sucks, OSRS, idk. That game sucks. Original message details are unavailable. Is Zezima still your #1? (Yes for me) Who? Original message details are unavailable. Are there still as many community events that people attend? Unsure. Original message details are unavailable. How has the botter population been in the game? More? Less? OSRS is 99% botted. RS3 doesn't have a lot of bots.
I don't have a signature, but wanted to have some content here.
So you lasted played in 2015? It was the last year when RS3 was still the more popular game, so fundamentally, the world would have turned upside down for you: prior to 2015, RS3 was several times more popular than OSRS, now it's vice versa.
Other than that, for RS3, skilling integrity is dead, MTX spam runs rampant, and Jagex's focus is on PvM, and more so on the endgame PvM. For OSRS, the major changes are that the mobile version is fully available now, and Jagex has changed the main focus from PvP to PvM, also towards the endgame more heavily.
Economy-wise, to put it shortly: RS3 is heavily inflated, and OSRS is on its way to become inflated too.
Idk about others but for me Woox is that #1.
Can't say about events, since I don't really participate in those, but regarding bots, OSRS naturally has more since it's now the more popular game.
I can give you some nice features to start looking at though.
Player owned farming. This totally changed farming. You can now raise animal. It is somewhat similar to Tamagotchi where you breed animals with traits with Farmhands like Farmville. You can sell the animals too.
Mining and Smithing Rework. The whole mining and smithing mechanism is revamped. Now, skillers can create the highest tier power armors once can only be obtained from bosses.
Achievements. A lot of shorter term achievements have been added. There are plenty of things to do other than just aimlessly grinding for xp and levels for hiscores.
Elite dungeons. The classic group elite dungeon the WoW and EQ style.
A lot of quests added. The Master Quest Cape is also added.
There are a lot of non-quests update lorewise too. Noticeabley Guthix died and many of the false idols like V and Bandos have returned to Gielinor, and then died. Dragonkin has broken free. The Stone of Jas is destroyed. And you, yes you the player has truly turned into Something Else, the World Guradian who may even be stronger than Saradomin and Itchlarin.
RS3 or OSRS? (Debate it)
Only you can tell. You are the only one you should believe.
How's the economy? (For both RS3 and OSRS)
We were in a period of deflation last year which is the complete opposite of what people think. Inflation on big ticket items like partyhats is completely artificial and not due to inflation in RS. Deep Sea Fishing sunk out a lot of money as well. Invention removed a lot of items that would have been alched. High alchemy is the largest source of money in the game. With the Smithing rework, we're hitting this more with giving more incentive to turn items into XP instead of alching them.
If you want to play RS3 and you have specific questions or need help with things. PM me. I have my pm always on so anyone can pm me.
Personally I love RS3 for the graphics which are way beyond OSRS.
The MTX is around, alot but you can ignore it. Just get the free stuff or the cheap stuff off GE. If you want to have outfits that look neater. The richest person is not who has the most. It is who Needs the least.
