It would be nice to see the 20 year cape to come with some benefits. This cape could work as a substitute cape for any 99s, 120s and max capes. Giving you the benefits that the those capes would give normally. It could recognize what you have completed in-game.(skills/comp/max) I would personally like to see this be the best in-game cape. Give something people can strive for.

So umm... just keepsake the veteran cape, use it as the cape override, and then wear the cape that has the stats/functions you want in your actual cape slot?

Agreed.

Vet capes are meant to be 100% cosmetic as their only use is to show how long you been playing for.

I call dibs on the 25 year veteran cape. Has all the perks of all 99 and 120 capes at all times, better stats than trimmed comp, gives free 5 master clues per week and something else that makes it better than the 20 year veteran cape.

This is why putting "better than everything else" on such things is a bad idea. What happens for the 30 year cape?

I was hoping to see something that said stop using roman numerals how the hell is XX on a cape going to work?

I'm still against capes like Skillcapes, Max and Completionist capes existing. If you added actual benefits to Veteran capes then I would be against them also. They should remain cosmetic.

XV seemed to work just fine so im sure they'll figure something out.

Plus theres 16-19 that need to be done as well before that and those look weirder IMO.

I mean XVIII on a cape might be a bit tricky.

That's kind of what I'm getting at as even XV is a bit eh.. I think they made a mistake in deciding to use roman numerals to indicate the years of veteran capes; surely they could have went about it without doing so using something else that would be easier to implement into a design of them.

Sure, XX could work (and I wouldn't be surprised if they do the same design as the 10 year cape for the numerals). Just wait until the 30 year cape which is XXX if the game is still around that long of course, that'll get all the attention for sure because at that point there'll probably be about three generations of players playing.
