“This thing is…terribly designed. Rubbish.” He muttered under his breath, “It’s impossible to tell where you should go, if it were half decent I’d be there by now.”
Emerging from the shade of the office block the strange man glanced up to see a huge chunk of city broken and partly on fire. He paused to blink.
“Oh.” He remarked, “I’m here.”
The ‘rubbish’ map sprung into flames as he casually tossed it over his shoulder. A grin spread over his face and he ran forward into the scene.
The Grim Reaper lost his hold as he reached the top of the rubble, causing him to tumble down the other side of the pile. Coming to a rest amongst heap of dust and pebbles, he quickly jumped to his feet to brush himself off. Like a meerkat peeking from its hole, the Grim Reaper surveyed his surroundings – performing a small bounce of fright as he spotted the cloaked knight before him.
“ARGH! AN ALIEN!” He yelled at the top of his lungs, before clearing his throat. “I mean, yes. An Alien. FLEE FROM THE GRIM REAPER, PROTECTOR OF EARTH! MWHAHAHAHA! FLEE NOW PUNY MORTAL, AND I MAY YET LET YOU LIVE!”
Flexing his muscles threateningly, the Grim Reaper proceded to stare down the cloaked knight, punching his fists together as hard as he could. A resounding crack could be heard, a teardrop dripping down his cheek.
While the battle raged, Aelius wandered into the city alongside a building, not knowing where he was. His map was quite unreliable, and even burst to flame. No matter, he entered the city, and promptly was quasi-threatened by the Grim Reaper himself, who had appeared from his mysterious, dark and creepy lair of unimaginable evil and death: a pile of rubble.
How would the Phoenix Knight react? What would the Grim Reaper do? Only time would tell...
“Protector of Earth? You might find that a tad difficult, as we seem to be on the same side. I assure you, I’m quite human.”
He leaned his head to the side, arms crossed, regarding this stranger with some curiosity, as if unaware of how silly he looked himself. The scarlet, Tyrian purple and gold peacock eyed robes gave the impression he’d gotten lost on the way to some cosplay convention…or maybe a very historically inaccurate Ren Fair.
“Although, if you’re not picky about who you fight…I suppose I’ve time for a warm up.” He taunted, an arrogant tone to his voice. He slipped into a fighting stance and resumed his irritating grin, waiting for the response.
“Oh-ho-ho, and did you just march out of a pride par-“ The grim reaper proudly announced, before pausing. Pressing two fingers against his ears, he muttered something about “sponsors” while nodding fervently.
“I MEAN! DID YOU JUST WALK OUT OF AN… AWESOME COMIC CON CONVENTION, LIKE THE ONE IN HOUSTON NEXT WEEK?! HOPE TO SEE YOU THERE! HAR HAR HAR!” he boasted, hands by his knees. “I’ll tell you what, alien-knight-kid-whatever, play along and I’ll even give you my autograph!”

A few blocks down the street, a group of SWAT guys took cover behind various SWAT vehicles, shooting at a big monster swatting a skyscraper for no apparent reason. The monster then tried to swat down some SWAT helicopters, but kept missing. Elsewhere, some black guy playing Fortnite in a convenience store was swatted, and was promptly shot dead, because he was black. The SWAT team then started playing Fortnite.
But then, suddenly, from nowhere... someone jumped off the top of a skyscraper, landing on an SUV with such force it turned into a mechanical pancake. As the dust settled and smoke billowed, a strange entity emerges, looking like:
he eyes The Grim Reaper and the knight of Caladrius... menacingly, but not too menacingly, just menacingly enough to be moderately intimidating.
“Who the fuck is that?” a raspy voice asks. When they look to the side, they see a female Khajiit wearing Fur armour, vaping skooma. What would the answer be? And who could this strange swordsman be?

He blinked as the vaper also made herself known, although he didn’t seem quite as surprised by the Khajit's appearance. He looked back at the katana wielder.
“Hmm…I don’t know. He looks kind of edgy. Well, why don't we ask him? Hello, you in the mask!" he called out, "Who might you be?"
Just as a precaution, the phoenix knight summoned a flame talon which enveloped his extended right hand, although he took care not to give off an aggressive impression.
