You know the best way to deal with powerful people is to kill them, right? If you leave them alive there's too great of a chance that they'll be able to do something in the future, so if you're in combat with someone that's a demi-god (like Annie) any competent person will just fight her to her death.

You could always try pulling off what they do in Fairy Tail? They're all about averting this trope (unless, of course, someone does something so bad even the author wants them dead).

I only have one thing left on the bio I made but I have no idea what Nexus to make her prefer since like the easy stuff is taken and the more unique stuff I'm unsure will work. So... I guess... Chasers, whenever you see this, would it be possible for a Nexus to be focused on, say, toxins or something? I would do electricity since it's more simple but I don't wanna be a copycat. Anyway, I'll post my bio whenever this is answered, so for now I'm heading to bed. :P
I just play FFXIV at this point. DC: Crystal

You could also do what they did in Inquisition and recruit the baddies.

"Oh, what's this? You poisoned half your order (which we are now allies with) using corrupted magical steroids? Welcome to the team!"

"Hmm... you dabbled in extremely dangerous magic that you tried to kill me with, and in doing so almost doomed the world. I suggest you continue to research said magic, but for us instead."

"You're a smuggler who worked for our enemy, and betrayed him for personal gain. Now that we have you in chains, you want to work for us? Sure, you seem trustworthy enough."

"So... you attempted to assassinate your empress in front of her entire court, and then tried to make people think your brother was an accomplice. All in service of our greatest enemy, a clearly untrustworthy madman. Wanna help us now?"

In bioware's eyes, atoners are worth several zealots (Because zealots are idiot manchilds who can't think for themselves), and token evil team mates are useful for when good is not nice.

What's the problem here? :P

So Aries is attempting to mimic the people attacking the mall...he dropped the guitar and took a guitar string.... Either the attempt to look like one of the men is going to go wrong and attract people who think he actually is one of them and try attacking him in surviving, or one of the men don't buy into his story and attacks him or he some how pulls this through and gets a proper weapon that's not a guitar string...

Will be interesting to see how he pulls this off
and nothing was spoiled :P

I hate to be a naysayer, but Aries doesn't quite fit the dress code. I guess the terrorists could follow novel stupidity and fail a spot check, but Aries doesn't presently seem to be wearing one of their trademarked hoodies.

Also, more importantly, I wonder if there a mixed gender ratio among the terrorists? Are they locals, foreigners or follow another set theme (ie. Ring-a-ding Vegas posers or Italian Mafia wannabes, see)? I guess details like these could be overlooked, but could help or hinder their chances of blending in.

... I'm thinking too much into this, aren't I?

Yeah, I'd say you are. Let him try to go about things his way, and see if it works out. I don't actually see it happening, but that doesn't mean subterfuge is the only way to go about it (although it seems like the best to me).

Don't get me wrong, those are the exact same things I thought when I first saw the post too, but if it seems reasonable to the poster and is within the realm of what the character would think I'd say just go with it.

Ehh, I encourage people to try things their way. What I'm trying to question are the repercussions of these actions. :P
