really? i like the slightly rigid quality of it, not to sound pretentious. it's kind of jazzy, a bit zig-zaggy.

EDIT-especially with the bold colors, as opposed to a gradient. it's like the ascii waves equivalent to video game graphics with an art style IMO.

Something that keeps causing problems for me is that whenever i add more than a certain number of colours to something (even when it's within the character limit), it doesn't recognize the codes and just displays a load of [colour1][/colour1].

And on top of that it gets rid of 'enter', so in places where the next bit of text should be on the line below, e.g.

aaaaa
bbbbb
ccccc

It would instead be;

aaaaabbbbbccccc

Is this a problem with the forums or a problem with the computer I'm using?

Information About the Setting Glau Glau is a world that began as a plain grey mass but became separated by oceans, forming four major continents. Magic entered through its chaotically charged atmosphere and formed one small floating island in the middle, rife with pure magic energy. some of the energy split into four elemental magics, which spread to the different continents and imbued the lands. Eons later, the lands have been inhabited by humans and the four continents have become known as; Erasti, the land of Air; Verdax, the land of Fire; Serkelade, the land of Water, and Gadea, the land of Earth the four continents make up the 'lower world' known as Solum, whereas the fabled island in the middle, shrouded in mystery, is known by the inhabitants of Solum as the spire. It is, in fact, inhabited, and known by its people (the Majesteic Amalgamated Something Something of radiant Yesteryears) as [cyan]the bastion[/cyan]. [whitesmoke]Erasti[whitesmoke] Land of Air, it is the smallest continent and rife with storms and winds. It is home to the Daikese Federation who are experts in airborne warfare. [goldenrod]Verdax[goldenrod] Land of Fire, it is covered in volcanoes and is probably the hottest continent overall. Home to the Paderains, who house some of the best weapon crafters in Glau. [dodgerblue]Serkelade[dodgerblue] Land of Water. It has many lakes and river in warm temperate climates in the south, and is covered with glaciers and snowy mountains in the North. This land is inhabited y the Foradese federation. [sienna]Gadea[sienna] Land of earth. This mountainous region is covered in deserts and canyons, and is inhabited by the Cheronais Federation, whose military are experts in terrestrial warfare.

^that's a post I tried to use in a RP. When i was previewing it before, it was fine, but once I'd added a few different colours, it suddenly started doing this. it's got nothing do to with the codes being in the wrong order. I honestly think it's this computer. I'm going to try on a different one and see if it works better.
