Hello and Sorry for worse english skills.


Risk/Death Mechanics

You must pay gold before enter/tele into wilderness.

Gear Tier Cost,. For example, 10k gold for every 2hand weapon level(90tier = 900k on risk), 5k gp ea for shields/onehands.
Also armours, combat familiars, effects, various items and etc.

To affect Naked players, need some gold risk amout if you want use activities: agility(20k), chaos altar(50k), charming moths(100k), cursed energy(200k), warbands(100k), etc?

(all the gold you pay is recovered back to you after safe leaving wilderness)

In case of death player loses 50% of risk, 100% if skulled.


PvP Drop Table

With every kill you get opponent risk and Drop Table(various resoures needed for game economy).
You get better reward depending on the damage/tank per minute.
1 Tier Drop Table require 10k damage/tank per minute.
2 Tier DT req is 20k DMG/M and so on.
And Drop Tier downgrades if attacker stops doing damage(allow refood to opponent in order to better DPM).


Other Important Things

In Wilderness Protect Item Prayer changing in Protect Risk, he saves 20% of Risk.
No Trading and dropped items visible only for you.
Remove all banks in Wilderness or change it in Bank deposit boxes(allow only put items in bank). And Add Supples Shops(gold sink) where you can buy food etc. For Chaos Altar you must give bones to NPC in Edgevile and claim back from NPC near altar.
Option to see own cosmetics all the time and option to see opponent cosmetics until combat.
High Risk Worlds 2x, 5x 10x - Better XP, Drops.


I understand Wildy has a lot of problems and these few ideas is the tip of the iceberg, but that would be a good start. This would make it easier to practice and optimise in future.

Why would someone who has 0 kills in wilderness make suggestions to pvp, you clearly have no idea what you are talking about. This wont help at all, only worsen situation.

not dead for those who doing activities here and wildy has alot of content. and this attract more people like me, who would rather lose 500k~ than gear.

And this is completely stops lures/scams...

He's saying to create a Death's Office kind of system for the wilderness. Put money into a coffer equal to a percentage of the value of the gear you take in, that money drops when you die instead of your gear.

Isn't the standard argument people give as to why there isn't any activity in the wilderness that gear costs too much to bother risking it? So wouldn't something like this solve that issue?

Of course I still think what they really need are diminishing returns past say level 75 on gear as well as a rework on how armour actually functions instead, but that's just me. The current system of simple hit chance just makes armour and defence as a whole pointless in the grand scheme of things.

This isn’t a new idea and it’s received a fair bit of support on reddit. A similar suggestion by Mod Hunter:

A PvP droptable wouldn’t work because it can be boosted. You and a friend (or an alt) could just take turns killing each other.


Jagex has doesn’t understand what needs to be done to revive the wilderness or they simply don’t care. They’ve made half-assed attempts to revive it in the past but there’s only like 2 or 3 worthwhile activities in the wilderness. Charming Moths were worthless on release, bakriminel trees are a 5 minute activity without any real risk or any chance of being PKed, bloodweed patch is ditto, etc. So the only worthwhile activities are lava noodles, warbands and wilderness slayer.

Thx for link. Mod Hunter almost have my support, but 2x death cost not enought, reason is cheap & powerful gear like royal rcb(750gp reclaim), thats annoying if you win against him and after wasted so much food, energy you get 1.5k gold from him, thats why gear tier tax very important.

Thats why im talking about drop tier downgrades if attacker stops damage. Very hard do it with alt and gain alot damage for good drop tier, also both players must eat food, waste energy etc... I think PvP Drop Table is possible, but not necessary.
