What has wrecked anachronia is the fact these lazy mods still dont understand that excessive kills for pittance doesn't scream fun.

After being told continuously over and over what constitues as being too rng for comp they release these 4 upgrade items at a 1/1000 drop rate each!??!?

BGH is good as it stands, they do need to manage the 3 spawn alot better and it shouldn't be so moronically impossible in certain situations. To add the Jadino thing after was completely idiotic. 1/1000 drop rate for the pelt given the time it takes to hunt 1 is unacceptable. The maul pieces are just trash rates and are no incentive to even bother

The soul rates were so extremely rng that it makes the slayer codex the defintion of "too RNG for comp" if it didn't already with gemstones, lost grove, corrupted, raptor stuff etc. they've added to the problem again.

I only moan being 4k slayer monsters dry of tooth, 204 laps of the course dry of oils.. it took 39 laps for the 4 totems. It took HUNDREDS of BGH for the 3 totems and I ended up getting the pelt AFKing on black warlocks.

This content is all over the place, on the wikia Blast diffusion boots on Lampenflora is 1/16,000 off task - Please, tell me what justifies this?

These blowpipe pieces are champion scrolls but on monsters with 35k-70k lifepoints. it's ruined the incentive to come back. the only thing keeping anyone here is the untradeables for comp and the codex for those that want 120 agility... That's it. infact that's the only certain thing here that gives you money consistently.

If they were more REALISTIC with these drop rates I'd be happy. 1/4000 on task is not realistic.. when the tasks is 70 monsters. 1/1000 for something that isnt tradeable is not realistic.

These developers need to educate themselves. They've not listened at all to the community. They've done exactly what they wouldn't do and created extreme rng grinds.

Of all the things you've listed, I've gotta disagree on the pelt one. The fact that its obtainable via any hunting activity is a good thing. Especially when the alternative method is an afk one. Compared to the other t3 upgrade items, the pelt was more fair. °l||l° Modest Skillers T7 Citadel | Skilling clan recruiting players. °l||l°

I'm just getting started.

If you think about it, if this was already existing content when you joined it would be one of the best things ever. Even more than the pet parade for agility.

BUT, if you are a completionist who was somehow forced to grind all of this out as soon as possible it is probably nothing short of torture.

I'm in the middle. I stuck my foot in and got lucky with some things while waiting to unlock upgrades. For me, I always forget to think of new players because they don't exist. And I forget about the completionists because they did this to themselves. I tried to help. But I think we will be having lots more updates like this.

They are already adding live events like Clan Cup to Anachronia this week. As long as there are live events and living game content in Anachronia, it certainly won't be dead or fossilized content. :)

LOL, adding in a live event there so soon after its release is as if the cntent already needs life-support = AKA it as good as dead content.

FYI: when I go the island, which is at various times throughout a day, including so-called peak times, each and every time: there is hardly anyone there.

So yeah: I agree with OP: dead content

Edit: to clarify: I only go to the island to check how far I am with the resources for upgrading part of the camp, that is it.

LOL. You don't know live events are the de facto content of modern day online games? In fact a lot of games roll out live events as their game features, otherwise Jagex wouldn't have copied and created DMM or be considering LMS. These are all Live Events... Are they dead before they even started already? :D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D

The entire island is so huge yet at the same time felt so empty. Where's the players flocking to explore new stuff? I don't see even a single soul there. Sure Anachronia looks nice but that's really it tbh. The dinosaurs are all copy pasted and swapped color palettes, dragonkin island? more like irrelevant island. It just looks like another bait for lore players thinking they could be satisfied with this ''huge'' update to dragonkin, LMAO.

It's dead content on arrival. These expansions are getting more and more soulless starting from Menaphos, the Arc and now this.

I'd like to know why we need a top end PvM ability (Bladed Dive) to complete an agility achievement (7 minute course). You do realise that some players find it very difficult to use manual ability bars. This just a smack in the face to disabled players. And here I was wondering why Jagex stopped supporting Special Effect. Guess this answered that.

I am sure disabled players can use some Mobile perk too.

No. You don't need Bladed Dive to complete this achievement.
