Too lazy to get the border stuff, I'll do it later.
Ren Draculea arrived in Falador today asking after Jeoffrey. After the former was located by the latter, Jeoffrey was informed of Xau-Tak's presence becoming known on White Wolf Mountain. Sandwiched between two kingdoms, how much of a threat could this really pose? The True Asgarnia -
Name of Event: Assault on Asgarnia Location: Falador Time: Saturday, August 24th Description: The demons Tanelyx and Be'lkhor have assembled their army. Backed by Kinshra and avernic demons, they march to destroy Asgarnia once and for all, with Jeoffrey and his allies standing in their way. Any Special Considerations: This is a big event. Clear your schedule for the days surrounding it.
The skies darken, thunderclouds rolling on the horizon. The night stretches longer, while day seems shorter. The air grows chill over the coming days, with the wind howling and a wicked laughter bouncing across the plains. Villainy is seen congregating up near Ice Mountain, droves of Kinshra and demonic creatures frothing as they wait to siege the White city.
A curfew is imposed upon Asgarnia, with northern settlements advised to abandon their towns and villages to come seek refuge in Burthorpe or Falador. City guard are doubled, though morale is low in the face of such unnatural occurrences, and Knights are being equipped with the elven armaments obtained in the trade so long ago.
Up on top of Falador castle, Jeoffrey sits atop the battlements armored and armed, legs crossed and fists clasped under his chin. Skraegorn snarling behind him, anxious and eager for the coming blood, but the King stays silent as he glares to the north.
The approaching storms finally blanketed the city in darkness. Lightning-ridden clouds stretching as far as the eye could see, if it weren't for the torrential rain they were dumping down onto the capital of Asgarnia. Strong gusts, blankets of thick rain, and crackling lightning sprawling across the sky met the town, shutting visibility outside down to nearly zero.
Nothing could be seen nor heard from the outside walls, denying any the chance to head off the approaching dangers. The march of an approaching force went unobstructed, siege equipment hidden by the deadly storms approached from the north. Faces hidden behind blackened metal visages, cold and heartless, set on their mission to destroy the shining crown city of Falador. They continued on, hidden by darkness.
Klitty's finale has begun! It's also been moved to discord roleplay (for an invite, see the first page) to enable the type of GMing that's being used; Camera Focus. Throughout the roleplay, the "camera" will be focusing in on certain parts of the city, with the type of RP being done and the characters therein shifting. Imagine how changing characters works in GTA 5. It allows for the entire city to be caught in a warzone, and our story is being told from the perspective of random npc's or main characters in the focus areas, with the full plot progressing a step every pan backwards.
Today's phase-1 of the finale has concluded; The North Gate. Despite a battering ram successfully knocking a hole large enough for entry, the siege weapons have mostly been disabled and the frontal assault being mostly beaten back. Tomorrow's phase-2 will be the Square, as Kinshra and Demons land through teleports and flood through the hole in the gate! A full summary will be posted after the plot has completed. The True Asgarnia -
