If you are a returning player and have no stats or items in OSRS it is because you never played OSRS which started in 2013 as a new game. OSRS is based on 2007 but did not exist until 2013.
If you are returning from any time before 2013, what you used to play was either Classic or RS2. Classic was closed and no longer exists. RS2 became RS3 through updates but is the same game, but with a new EOC combat system introduced in 2012.
So if you are returning, and never played OSRS, your stats and items were either on Classic which no longer exists, or they are still on RS3 where they always were.Hi.
rDrewsaid: Jethro†Flaggsaid: sorry i didnt see this thread before i posted mine i see the OSRS as the original RS that i have paid a lot of money into over the years i have played the game. it should be my choice i want to use my player on OSRS not the new one. im a paid up member as far as im concerned im a paid member on OSRS Jagex need to sort this out.
You have it backwards. The new game is OSRS, the old game is RS3.
RS3 started as RS2 in 2004.
OSRS is based on 2007 but started in 2013, so is the newer game.Hi.
Gozzzzsaid: rDrewsaid: Gozzzzsaid: Osrs is a new game, rs3 is the main game. Rs3 is actually runescape, which you played previously.
Wanting your runescape character to be on osrs is like wanting your runescape character to be on wow. They are different games.
Except both version of RuneScape are owned by Jagex so itís nothing like that comparison, Iím sure itís tehcnically possible to have a paid service to be able to transfer a character from one game to another. These days that doesnít seem like a tehcnically impossible thing to do. Does it?Would you expect your Diablo character to be on D3? Or your WoW character to be on Warcraft 3? Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm...
A more fair comparison would be trying to put a Ford truck engine part on a Ford car engine, they wouldn't fit properly, even though they are made by the same company, they are different engines.Hi.
