Time seized to continue. The point was to go to the island but the island itself has only 3 activities to do. Not to mention the horrendous wait times for gathering. Why did Jagex not allow us to help gather? I’d much rather have done that then wait 6 months to finish the island.

Jagex we should be able to help our people gather the materials to build up base camp. Not only would this allow for more usage of the land area, but also more interactions between NPCs and the players themselves.

Give us a reason to actually be on the island other then making it like miscellanea without a Favor system.

The direction you’re going with updates will make it a complete afk game. Although I see that’s how most mobile mmo games are designed. Players don’t want afk or pointless events.

We want a Jagex that actually cares about the updates and won’t abandon them when people decide to hate them. At the moment with how Anachronia is the only reason to get on is to check it’s progress.

Try to be better. Quality over quantity is better, but what’s been given to us over the past 2 years is only one year of the runescape 3 teams full effort I feel like.

Anachronia is a good start but it should have been branched out more then it is.

Agreed.

Personally speaking, I see and feel Anachronia like a waste of world map. After reaching it, all excited and stuff (beautiful music, by the way), I went from OH NIC3 DIN0S, 3DGY AGIL1TY TRAININ' W00TZERZ to literally ... That's it? An Oo'Glog version of Jurassic Park mixed with Age of Empires building mechanics?

In my opinion, Jagex should try a "let's fix current content for a while, instead of bringing new stuff", at least for a while.

Oh, and on a side note... Also try to come up with new seasonal event ideas :|:|:|
Once upon a time... inside the ubiquitious and baffling fog...

What should Anachronia looked like instead?
What els should they had to add?
and if they added all that stuff do you people understand that the main world become useless?

Were to start and were to end.

I like to think of it as less of an 'expansive update' and more of an overly flamboyant ninja fix that gave us the ability to wear Void at slayer again and an infinite Sign of Life.

Waste... of world map? You know you can just keep adding to the map in a fictional world right? It doesn't have to be Earth sized or whatever.
But is Geilinor flat, that's the real question.

Players don’t want afk

Actually yes, that's exactly what the majority wants.

Stupid mindless grind is the biggest problem with RS at this point. To acquire new players, RS needs to cut down on the grind. The only two ways to do this (excluding some more extreme forms of mtx) are afk'ing parts of the game or increasing the xp rates drastically. The latter will trigger the usual whining from 'veterans' who see their clicking devalued, so Jagex went mostly with the former. And yeah, mobile will make this even more important, as it is a much more casual form of gaming by definition.

And for those who don't like it, they can always go to CarpalScape, aka OSRS.

And on topic, I personally like the new island. It's a great place with some interesting new mechanics. There's not that much to do there for now, but there's a lot of potential. I'm hoping for more quests in that area.

The funny thing is that some people actually wanted it to be a 100% copy of Fossil Island from OS. Imagine how boring that would have been.
