I'm hearing soo many people whine and complain about the update, yet from my experience as a NOW f2p, I like what I have to see so far. Sure, there are a few kinks that need to be looked at as far as specific settings like DISABLING that critical hit pop up...(annoyed face).
The power of the pick axes needs to be reconsidered due to the fact majority of players are 99 mining anymore these days. Our mining levels should also add in some strength, as well as our physical strength levels. In other words, Mining and Strength Levels should add 50% power to our swings or increase the minimum output of damage we do per swing of the pickaxe with our current picks being utilized.
As far as the prices being changed drastically, THANK GOD! Our economy has been in a bit of shambles lately thanks to high alchs and various drops. This should really start to help balance out our economy, and with the other reworks (if ever released) should help maintain our economy or further balance it out so that everyone and anyone can make it or break it.
WELLLLLLL....now there's a new thing that people are complaining about. The fact we cant plus hatchets and cross bows. While I can UNDERSTAND not enhancing cross bows...wait, why isn't this possible? We need to smith the limbs, right? Let us plus them! Crafted cross bows from the created limbs can not be traded...one and done.
Custom Armor...Fun. Now...here's my gripe about the current F2P stats I'm seeing.
There's no real significant increase to damage or defense modifiers, and they're clearly not evident when combat training. Some would say otherwise, but with 99 combat skills...I'm not seeing the significant difference when using rune +3s against their appropriate weaknesses. (taps on jagexes monitor, everyone alive over there?)
SOOO....anything else anyone wants to add in? Cause we can go for rounds with this long awaited GLORIOUS UPDATE!
