I made dragonbane longwords with dragonslayer, genocidal and precise 5 perks and it seems very effective on qbd even while not on a black dragon task. I still think tier 90 weapons would be better.
The accuracy really brings bane down unfortunately

@Jeremy
Appreciate the effort you put in to answer the question! Well done.

I was just going to do the same maths everyone else is capable of using the resources on the Wiki etc, so your data and experiential knowledge seems far more valuable.

A tuned bane weapon is t79 accuracy with about t99 damage (technically t98.75), making it in practice, a t89 weapon.

That said if accuracy isn't a big deal, tuned bane's damage is best in slot. you can even augment them and throw on dragon/demon/undead slayer for an extra 7% damage on top. The only drawback is the lack of reach you'd get from a nox scythe, which I think only really plays out with abyssal demons

Since accuracy is based only on your main hand weapon, surely that makes bane an absolutely astounding option for your offhand weapon at their respective monsters.

Enhanced Darklight must get pretty darn ridiculous then when you combo it with an off-hand abyssalbane longsword (maybe competitive at abyssal demons).

Does offhand abyssalbane's damage buff apply itself fully to a non-bane mainhand weapon, and would mainhand augmented abyssalbane out-damage a darklight?

I haven't tested them physically @ abby demons, so I don't know if the accuracy buff of darklight is actually significant or not. It's an interesting angle though. my prime concern though is that dual wield doesn't seem to have the aoe potential of 2h.

I would like to figure this out as well.
Darklight with abyssalbane offhand does sound good on paper, but if it is worth it in practice is another matter.
The use is extremely niche though, are there any high leveled abbysal demons?

So damage wise they are better than even t92 but their accuracy is really low. To be used effectively you would need to be at or near 100% Accuracy.

On another note, can we make revanantbane into Necrobane that has a damage boost against all undead? I mean seeing as how Revs are shit money.

I take it there is no hidden set effect for using bane armour and tuned weapons at the same time? I did make a full set for mining task but then I repair and buried it for smithing task before I could test it out.

“While fighting dragons, the dragon bane square shield applies a thorns effect, in the same manner as armour spikes - adjacent targets that hit the wearer have damage dealt back to them (it is not a reflect nor does the damage scale with the damage done by the attacker).”

Revenantbane is BiS against Revenants. It's also lower-risk than comparable weapons as it does over T90 damage without the T90 price tag. It won't be very good for PvP though, but I doubt you'll be fighting back much; your goal will be to flee.

Drgaonbane 2h is good if your Hit Chance is 100%, which is most likely on a Slayer task. If your hit chance is not 100% then you'll probably do better with Dragonbane ammo, because this offers a massive hit chance boost.

Abyssalbane isn't worth using imo because it does not have the AoE reach that Scythe/Lance/Magic/Ranged has. Probably alright for mid-level players though.
